Listen if Jamie is really sick I wish him well! But come on people this is suspect if this was really something this bad it should’ve been postponed at the time he was in the hospital he’s recovering now. And the fact that the directors were posting a hour ago about the show seems strange. I feel like they were really trying to push Britney & maybe with all the stuff with her dad she didn’t want to give it her all

Okay, after reading the press release, it does seem very strange.  There seems to be a few possibilities:  

1) Jamie is unable to fulfill his duties as conservator, so they are not taking the chance with Britney relapsing and breaking the contract mid run,

2) Jamie is I’m critical condition and they are hopeful for a recovery, but some complication has them on high alert, 

OR unrelated to Jamie but still plausible:

3). The residency funding agencies have decided to pull the plug as it is not generating the funds necessary to make it profitable or worthwhile and this is the most plausible excuse they can give, which leaves the door open for another attempt if/when her popularity improves,

4) Britney herself has suffered a relapse of some kind or is pregnant. If this is the case, the sudden nature would be explained and there might be a fight for the next step (keep it or not).

Whatever the case might be, the postponement becomes a good decision for her. There is no real benefit to Domination right now with ticket sales as bad as they are.  An album, buzz, and a more cohesive attempt later may be best, but I sincerely doubt Britney really wants any of it.  The truth will be obvious soon,

Why does she need to cancel everything? Life doesn't need to stop cause someone is dying

I really want the best for her and her family no matter what. I didn’t want to post this on her Instagram, but it feels very inauthentic to me. I hope not and I’d feel terrible if I was 100% wrong, but I have a staying feeling it’s team brit being shady.

But do you really think that Park MGM would have allowed her to cancel an entire show rather than postpone the beginning? 

 

I think that Britney's personal decision was supported by non-exceptional ticket sales. Accept it. Abomination won't happen. 

 

for starters Park MGM doesn't own Britney Spears. Second, contracts are always made considering special exceptions. I'm pretty positive that, as her conservator and the person who actually makes the decisions, the fact her father eventually could get sick and unable to handle necessary decisions and all stuff is probably envisaged by her contract, in some special clause. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she was actually able to cancel everything, without having to pay anyone, if it was for health reasons, backed up by the contract. You people are so naive and uninformed sometimes

Sending positive vibes out her and her families way.

Also sending out positive thoughts to all the fans with trips booked. I come from Scotland and traveled out to Vegas 3 years in a row so I know the money involved so I pray people can get something back on travel insurance or whatever. 

On a a positive spin... this is perhaps forcing her to take the break she needs and she’ll come back with something to prove. She has the chance to rewrite the whole disastrous POM-Domination transition. So they might come back with a single and hopefully some rebranding as the promos for Domination are poor also. 

Try take a positive away from it and pray he gets back to full health soon.

All shows on Ticketmaster are now officially Cancelled / Automatic Refunds

I just ran through and all shows (through August) are officially "Cancelled" on Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster does have a "Postponed" status that they use, so this most likely means Britney is getting out of her contract and Domination is officially over. Makes no sense that they would cancel through August and not just cancel the first leg at this time if this show is completely done.

Very strange, but I guess good for fans that already have tickets that they're not waiting continual postponed delays like Janet Jackson likes to do.

this is terrible and i really hope jamie gets better real fast. I hope now people on here will stop speculating and saying we havent seen britney around because she had more surgery, she doesnt seem invested in the show, hasnt been rehearsing enough, etc. and just let her be and let her focus on her family. positive vibes only.

If I see one more Brittatd praising Brit for "putting herself and fam before her career for once" I'll lose it. Brit's not cared about her career since 2004 - she's lazy, dull and living off past glories. I'm glad this awful show is cancelled - it should never have even been announced!!! Retire, Brit.
