I agree the wording between Britney's statement, and what Park MGM are saying isn't making any sense for fans at the moment but I'm sure there'll a further statement in time.

When have you ever heard an artist say’ “I’m cancelling these dates because ticket sales suck?”  It doesn’t happen.  It’s always a health issue or a family issue.  Since her health is documented as fine in recent videos, they had to choose her dad as that is the most plausible.  I’m sorry you are naive, but most of us who have cancelled big things in the past know a sick relative is the best way out of a contract.

Britney has definitely made the right decision here. Your family should always be your top priority no matter what and certainly should take precedence over anything work-related.

I know it will be disappointing for all the fans that had tickets, and had made travel plans but anybody else would do the same in her situation.

I just hope Jamie has a speedy recovery and I'm sure she will be back one day.

It's cancelled. Ticketmaster is refunding all orders for all dates. It's over.

Shocking... wish the best to her and her family. Screw the career and the residency, she comes first and she did the right choice cancelling something she would not be able to endure due to this situation. To make such a decision means her dad has to be very ill, so please be compassionate guys... seriously, this is no joke.

Maybe Jamie relapsed and that's why the canceled it all of a sudden, I don't think they will risk their image because of it. I hope everything is fine with the family.

I can see Netflix paying 1 million for an Exclusive concert from Britney and Maybe call it something else than Domination and Just make it like the one that was on HBO live from Miami.

We know she's lied in the past, but I doubt they would lie about something so serious. 

Either way, I just wish her and her family the best, and hopefuly, Jamie will recover.
