Imagine if they'd stayed together. Britney may never have had a breakdown. She might be in control of her own affairs right now. Music or no music, things would've been SO different. I take Jason Alexander over Jason Trawick, Kevin Federline, JT, Sam or Shrek. Alexander knew Britney before the fame and didn't seem as money-grabbing as KFed. They would've had 2 girls and 2 boys. People would now be saying "Wow who imagined Britney and Jason would last almost 2 decades together?" Imagine what having a strong relationship would've done for Britney. I like to think she'd have excluded her creepy family from her life for the most part and maybe her career would've been better because she'd have only made music when passionate and ready not forced to do so. Urgh, I wish we could slip into a parallel world.

as far as I remember, Britney Jean was the last album from her old contract she had with Jive and that RCA inherited after absorbing Jive.

Glory was only the first of the new contract with RCA, which supposedly was for 4 albums.

For those questioning his intentions, like why is he only revealing all that after all these years, it's because he insinuated that him and Britney are secretly in contact after years of not talking. And his friend, the host of the video, talked a lot about Britney on YouTube, social media and Patreon and he knew Jason Alexander personally and asked him to do this video. 

And like he said, he could have done plenty of interviews throughout the years about Britney but refused them because this is not his World.

This was a little strange but he seemed to genuinely care about her and sees what we all see and not gonna lie dropping original doll as her last album in her contract then continuing as an independent artist is genius

That may have been where the confusion was at. Me, him and surely other fans who i saw commenting that too, probably weren't aware of the new RCA contract. He also said she originally signed a 8 albums recording deal which confirms what you said and contradicts what he said.

I think he was pertaining to Original Doll as supposedly the 5th album after In the Zone. If I recall it correctly, she was under 5-album contract with Jive, so he was saying after the 5th one she shouldn't renew with Jive, but even before the 5th was released she already renewed with Jive. The 5th ended up being Blackout, and the first album from the renewed contract was Circus, the last one being Britney Jean released under RCA after Jive dissolved. So the new contract she has now I believe is a 4-album cobtract that began with Glory, so he's probably not referring to B10 as album that was supposed to be Original Doll especially since she still has 3 albums left to fulfill her contract and not just 1.

This was a lot of info. Most we already had a feeling about, but he doesn't badmouth her which is great. I think he genuinely does care and hopes that she gets through it all. I'm curious what will happen once she's freed. Will they rekindle the friendship or so?

I think he got a little lost with the number of albums she already released and may not have been aware of the new contract with RCA once Jive just down because he also said she signed a 8 albums recording contract and only had one album left but Britney Jean is her 8th album and we know "Glory" so she clearly signed a new contract he wasn't aware of.

I would like to think he genuinely cared for Britney, despite his history and record.  It does make you wonder what would’ve happened and could’ve been if they had remained married.  I’m sure he will get 💩 from her team about this.

He pretty much implied that they are in contact. He said they lost contact for 10 years after a few weeks following their marriage cancellation and basically insinuated they were friends / in contact as of lately, maybe the last 2 years since it's been 12 years since their infamous wedding. He said he always loved her and wished they could go Bonnie and Clyde on this conservatorship and decide to see each other and not let somebody else decide for them.
