Seems like everyone has different sources. We will have a new unidentified source in the next podcast, the first podcast had a paralegal, The Blast seems to have someone else. TMZ seems to have been paid off by Team Britney?

I went through the Blackout era...

While I do think she'd be dead without the temporary conservatorship, I don't believe she lost her entire fortune. I think she just didn't have any liquid assets because she was spending cash faster than it was coming in since she wasn't touring. She was still bringing in hundreds of thousands a month due to perfume sales, but she wasn't investing.

More than anything else, I think her Team wanted to control her brand over the long term. That was why the permanent conservatorship was important, and why Jamie continues to insert himself into her career to this day.

First one is Jamie's narrative (first narrative, which makes sense, because he was the first to know)
Second is Lou's narrative (reaction to Jamie's narrative, still focused on Britney's health being #1 priority)

During my meet and greet at Piece of Me, I had to step out to use the bathroom and the security guard had to walk me out and lead me back in. Anyway, he asked me about my conversation with Britney and what I would talk to her about. I said I don’t know but maybe Will and Grace because I want her back on it. He said that I should ask her about “Original Doll” and “Mona Lisa.” I laughed and said no way. I said that it wouldn’t be a good idea, but he kept telling me that a lot fans want to know and it’s a big deal. The conversation wrapped up by him saying what do I have to lose.

I never asked her, because I was not going to risk getting thrown out, but with all this talk about freeBritney, I feel it’s just all a big joke about controlling her and her creativity. Her team is sick!

This is BULLSHIT they’ve done exactly what I said about 4 pages back. They’ve made her ‘look’ crazy to keep her under their control.

I wanted to shed some light onto the nature of guardianship (conservatorship), the affects it has on a person, and how it shifts the dynamics in family relationships when family members become a person's guardian (as it is in Britney's case). I work in the mental health field and deal with individuals with severe mental illness who have appointed guardians. In all the cases I came across, the person under a guardianship is incapacitated to the point of being unable to sustain employment, hence their need for a legal guardian. This is not the reality for Britney, who continues to work a rather rigorous schedule touring and performing. What it more chilling about these guardianships is that people in them become institutionalized. They become accustomed to function solely in repressed and artificial reality, where their facets to make decisions and think for themselves are taken away. The values and characteristics you've always relied on to manage life, make choices, cope with stress, and CREATE are by default taken away. Your self-concept fades away as you begin to live by what others see fit and appropriate...this is probably the biggest reason that Britney as an artist cannot flourish. I think what happened in Britney's case is that Jamie is trying to "overcorrect" Britney's life from the time she was a kid performer with Lynn calling the shots and he being seemingly absent from the family, to then being marketed for the masses as a worldwide pop star. I could see him having all this resentment towards it, and when 2007 happened he goes "That's it, I'm taking control of everything. She's gonna do things my way." His intentions were probably in the right place, but he overstepped this and became a guardian. I totally see him as a hard-***, old school macho type ("Leave it to women and their Hollywood havoc to screw it up and almost killing my Britney. Daddy's gonna do things his way now.") What Britney needed in 2008 was her parents to perhaps file for temporary guardianship, and then after that ended continue giving her the emotional support she needed as she navigated her own life on her own terms. SORRY FOR THE RANT, but I needed to get it all off my chest.
