Persian men will date non Persian girls till they're in their mid 30s. They'll dump the girl and settle with a nice Persian girl and start a family. 

He's only dating her for 2 reasons: for his own gain (main reason why) and because he knows his family will never accept her into the family so why not just date her for the time being?

It’s a win for her team and MGM because now they have more time to prepare for the show and improve what they need to improve before it kicks off again. NappyTabs teasing about the setlist (Overprotected, My Prerogative) and vocals is likely all part of the plan to hype it up so when it’s back, her fans are excited and will flood the box office/ticket master to buy tickets to see what is supposed to be her best show to date. Her return will be branded as yet another “comeback,” which the GP/media will be all over because everyone loves a good comeback story, right? This will help MGM sell more tickets to the GP and fill the venue/ their hotel rooms/casino—which is where MGM’s real money comes from. Don’t be fooled into believing otherwise. 

Here’s what the plan would look like for her return (if it’s not, her marketing team needs A LOT of help): 

1. Announce the “indefinite hiatus” on a Friday morning so it’s watercooler talk in the office, but close enough to the weekend where it’ll be brought up in social interactions with people you’re more likely to visit Vegas with. This “postponement” story will be all over the media for a couple of days and keep people talking about her and getting her sympathy points. 

2. In a few months or so, maybe around early March, post a pic with Jamie and confirm he’s at a full recovery and thank fans for their patience and prayers. Tease that Britney is ready to get back to work again. 

3. Leak something (maybe Pitbull track) to spark interest in her music again and get people talking about her professional life again, not just personal. Shortly, announce that a lead single, which she’s readied since before her hiatus, is coming soon. Release single/MV. Use the “comeback” angle to really push this single. 

4. Later, announce an album and that the residency (maybe new name?) is back on. Release dates and new rehearsal footage. NappyTabs back in the picture. Again, it’s a comeback so people will be all over it. Promo for both will kick in to high gear. Tickets will sell, album will likely sell with it. (Hopefully they’ll bundle the two, but it’s Britney’s team we’re talking about)

5. Album comes out mid summer (July-August) with a combo promotional run for the residency. Residency kicks up again towards the end of summer/early fall (August-September) with the hype from the original show teases and the all the new exposure she’s gotten from being a good daughter and the buzz of new music.

Again, win-win-win.

I agree but not with the album release. I doubt they have any material for a new album. Maybe they will release a new single but not an album. Or maybe no single at all? I mean, they announced Domination without having new music to promote it so maybe they will just play the "comeback" card

MGM wasn't impressed or happy at all how the production went. 90% of the show weren't ready until new year, after the impact of Gaga's Enigma management decided to pull the plug due low expectations of the whole show and low ticket sales. You should consider being a fiction writer. You have a wonderful imagination that is obviously a vast and deep. You should put it to good use instead of conjuring conspiracy theories.

My opinion is that the show(new name I think) will begin in late summer- september tied up the album release. June 1st single and august 2nd one. They will milk out as the comeback/ stronger era. Maybe maybe with a netflix documentary showing the struggles of personal and professional lives.

A Netflix doc would be a great move for her and for the residency. Similar to what IABJ did for POM, this could generate interest in Domination/new residency.

That seems really cynical to me. I'm sure you're right, but it just rubs me the wrong way knowing that Larry and her team will in fact use this as positive PR when Britney just wants to be with her dad.

It’s not great, but unfortunately this stuff happens all the time with celebs. So many “breaks” and “getaways” that are used to cover up so much more. 

I hope we get candids of her in Louisiana soon. She doesn’t owe any of us anything, but it’ll be nice to see her there since that’s the reasoning we’ve been given for he postponement.

Can I go out on a limb here by saying that the reason for her cancelling the show is NOT related to her fathers illness...? I understand he isn’t well, I am not denying that fact, but I do not believe it is the reason. Thoughts?

Yeah, I agreed with a lot of it, but there were moments where I was like “uh...” lol. For example, I didn’t agree with the fuss they made about changing the profile pics, banners, etc. on her social media. She has a team dedicated to taking care of that for her so why wouldn’t that change immediately?

They're kinda right about nappytabs. I think it's "wrong" the way they just spilled details, but at the same time, I, like, REAAAAAALLY doubt Domination will ever come out, as it was planned. Like, for million reasons, whenever she decides to come back with a show, it's obviously not going to be the same, so why not just reveal everything they had planned? We don't even know if they're gonna be hired again for the next show.

And their comparison with the Joseph Kahn - Perfume situation is accurate. And I think it sums up to one thing: if you're so mad about your project getting cancelled/scrapped/cut whatever, and you plan to release all the details about it, then go and do it in full, like be brave enough and talk openly about it, willing to take all the consequences this may carry for you, but that way of just teasing little tidbits of information to the fans, only to go mute after a while (probably after a Team Britney's threat) I think that's the tasteless thing. Say everything or don't say nothing. As they said, when you're this kind of "public figure" you shouldn't be using Twitter as a brainstorming board.

 

Now, what I didn't like, about the switching banners I don't see it like anything weird or something. They're cancelling the show, why would they have the Domination pictures still there. What should they change it to, the POM one they used to have? Glory?

And constantly bringing up Britney Jean into the conversation, I think it's like, it doesn't have anything to do, and it's a totally different situation, it was like,

IDK...  Jamie's surgery was in November or so. Her appearance on Ellen and the Domination's announcement were on mid october. If they had music to release, the moment to announce it was those 2 days if they were smart enough to create hype for the residency. We didn't have reliable rumors about new music coming out soon. 

I honestly think that Domination was so rushed that they didn't even have a single to promote it. Even with Jamie in hospital, once he was back in his house or when she started with the rehearsals, they should have started to promote whatever they had to release. But nothing happened. Of course we will never have real answerts about this but the whole domination "era/months" were a big mess and it looked like they didn't know what they were doing.
