  1. What songs would you want Britney to cover? I have this fantasy of her covering Madison Avenue's "Don't Call Me Baby." She did great covering My Prerogative and Tom's Diner, it'd be easy for her to make this song her own. The lyrics seem like something she'd connect with and it's a song that's very within her range. What would you want to hear here do? P.S. This is my first post
  2. Ive been watching lots of videos about their rivalry and former friendship and its interesting to me. I think that Christina is a great artist and singer obviously and I love her first 3 albums. however she has a big grandeur attitude about herself and I also dont like the way she's treated Britney before. Maybe she's grown out of it but there's a reason why Britney was always more popular despite Christina's stronger vocals. Thats just my opinion. I dont want to start a fight or something but I was just curious what Britney fans on here think of her Do you guys like her or do you only prefer Britney?
  3. Now before I get any angry comments, im NOT discrediting or downplaying her legacy but I feel like in this new generation, she is really overlooked and not as acknowledged as her other peers. Even Britney and Mariah get more praise and are called "inspirations" more than Madonna. I have a feeling its because of her recent behavior and shocking new look, that people dont take her seriously. But thats just my opinion. What do u guys think? Like I said I KNOW she's a legend and the best selling female singer ever but she is kinda underrated now.
  4. Hey you guys! I was listening to some Britney songs the other day and it made me realize how I can relate to them while others not. Anyways for example: I'd say the Baby One More Time album suits me cause im sensitive, romantic and love being in love. I also would say im the Britney album cause I can relate to most of the songs and im going through lots of changes, etc. I know this was probably better suited as a personality quiz but idk how to do that nor do I know if its possible to do on here but oh well. I just wanted to start a fun topic. Yeah let me know which Britney album can you relate to the most and which one fits your personality the most
  5. In my opinion I think the 80's and 90's were the best decades in music cause they had musicians with SO much talent, charisma and larger than life persona. And in the 80s we got legends like: While with the 90s, we got: I'd say both decades were the last decades of QUALITY music! Although I got to admit the early 2000s were good but thats cause of Britney. So yeah what do you guys think are the best decades of music?
  6. What I mean by this is what music video out of her entire career, which do you find the most beautiful or aesthetically pleasing? For me, I'd say its a 3 way tie between Sometimes, I'm Not A Girl and Slumber Party. Sometimes because of the beach theme and colors plus Britney looks SO angelic and beautiful in this video! I'm Not A Girl cause of the beautiful imagery of the Grand Canyon and its simple yet gorgeous Slumber Party because Britney served us looks, dance moves and the rainbow colors towards the end of the video are amazing! What do you guys think? What do you think are some of her best looking music videos?
  7. Personally for me I think she was inspired by both. Like when it comes to singing style and dancing, I'd say Janet while with controversy and her **** image, I'd say Madonna. What about you guys? Who do you think inspired her more when it comes to her career?

  10. Mexican singer Thalia revisited her iconic looks in the latest edition of Mexican Vogue "La Vida en looks". In a photoshoot by Raúl Tovar, Thalia, now 49, recreated some of her pictures from her 1992 Love era, shot by Adolfo Pérez Butrón; she was 21 at the time. Related:
  11. Mexican singer Thalia has shared a lyric video of her 1991 hit Amarillo Azul. The song served as the third single off her debut solo album Thalía released in September 1990, but it didn't count with an official music video. The video displays several images of her from the 90's, along with a floral theme for which she was known at the beginning of her solo career. "The queen of Flower Power" used to incorporate flowers on her stage outfits and mic, as well as props. Thalia, 49, who was very criticized at the beginning of her career for her provocative image and songs, shared yesterday an empowerment post on her social media defending women's right to post whatever they like on social media: Her post makes reference to her social media pictures, as well as the Christian songs she's been covering lately, the latest being Cristo, Heme Aquí, uploaded to her channel last week. The mashup is made out of two of their hits, JNS' Corazón Confidente (2001), which was released when the group was still called Jeans, and Kabah's La Calle de las Sirenas (1996). The two 90's icons were supposed to embark on a joint tour last year, but it was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.
  13. For me its so hard considering I dressed up in so many different costumes from Supergirl to Britney in the school outfit but if I had to pick, it would be: My 80s Madonna costume. It was the black version of her Like A Virgin dress except I had a silvery jacket with it. I wore it in 2018 Now what about you guys? Do you have a specific costume that you like the most? Happy early Halloween btw!
  14. British pop group Steps dropped the MV for their second single “Something in Your Eyes” taken from their upcoming album “What the Future Holds” this morning. The song is classic pop that will transport you back to 1998 when times were simpler and cheesy pop music was everywhere. It’s fun, it’s camp, it’s colourful and it’s just what the world needs some of right now. Watch the clip below and stream the song everywhere now and let me know what y’all think. Related:
