However I only have a couple fave albums from a decade: 80s: Like A Virgin by Madonna 90s: Baby One More Time by Britney 00s: Oops I Did It Again by Britney 10s: Glory by Britney Now what about you guys? 3. I just saw it in YouTube. One of the iconic songs of the 80s and sax as well!
  4. If Britney released a VHS compilation in 1989, this would be it. I worked on these between late 2019 and early 2021 trying to give each one a distinct flavor. Hopefully you all find something new and exciting in each of these. You'll notice in some of the songs I have mixed before that I paid homage to my previous remixes too. Which are your favorites? 1. Circus (Nick* Big Top Remix) 2. Outrageous (Nick* Street Remix) 3. Make Me (Nick* No Return Remix) 4. Ooh La La (Nick* Dreamland Remix) 5. Criminal (Nick* Crook County Remix) 6. Everytime (Nick* Make Believe Remix) 7. I Will Be There (Nick* End Credits Remix) DOWNLOAD Some of the spares that got left off this will be getting their own little releases too.
  5. Prince's Sign O' The times George Michael's Praying For Time Both songs are social commentary. Both songs were the first ones to have a music videos that featured with lyrics only. Both are 80s icons and genius of course.
  6. Update: Bebe Rexha just announced her new single, Sacrifice, will be out this Friday! According to the preview she just put on her IG and FB Stories, the beat follows the 80s-inspired trend everyone is embarking on! Are you guys excited? Cuz I am!

It was the black version of her Like A Virgin dress except I had a silvery jacket with it. I wore it in 2018 Now what about you guys? Do you have a specific costume that you like the most? Happy early Halloween btw!

  12. My fave song is Crazy For You by Madonna. I just love how romantic and sweet it is; it's DEFINITELY a song to play on a date or when you're gonna have ***. 80's Madonna was the best! What about you guys? What's your fave song of all time?
  13. Continuing with my 80s theme, I bring you a PWL style remix of Rain On Me that's like Never Gonna Give You Up meets I Wanna Dance With Somebody. Something like that. Hope you enjoy! And they're back with an encore performance!
  14. This girl is seriously good. Stunning voice, gorgeous, very good 80s instrumental and a wonderful music video. I know it ain't in English but for those of you who care about some amazing music above all, here you go, enjoy:
  15. If you were to tell me that hip hop and R&B music would become the preferred genre in pop music. The 7 year old me in 1991 would laugh at you. Boy how close to 30 years later. That did become accurate. So with that said. If you look at the Billboard archives of the 80s and early 90s. You will see what I mean. Pop music ran the 80s like no other gebre. Maybe once in a while an 80s hair band lije poison would get a #1 single but it was with a ballad like every rose has it's thorn. Not their hard rock sound.. But pop music did run the decade as the preferred genre in music. In both albums and the hot 100. Hell the best selling album of all time is from 1982. Thriller by Michael Jackson. The biggest selling female artist of all time according to Guinness book of world records is Madonna. An artist who debuted in 1982. So the 80s was truly the last decade that pop music ran it like a boss. Now it is now known as a resurgence genre. Will be preferred for a few yeard til people get bored and go back to rap music. Rap music became popular again. Ince charts allowed Streaming to take over. Rap never died. They moved to a format before anybody else did.
  16. Growing up in a family that was musical. Grandfather is self taught guitar and piano. I am able to actually detect the synths and the production process better than most music techs. Growing up. The golden rule was Music is a universal language. Shall be treated as such. My mother dated a Guy from Germany. I was 4. He played The US compilation 99 Luftballons by Nena. 5 English songs (learned last week. None of the songs matched the actual translations...not shocked.) Oldschool is my favorite of her modern day stuff. She was harshly criticized on her last album in 2012 for not wanting to discuss the 80s or her initial introduction in German pop music. So in 2015 she hooked up with Samy Deluxe a huge act in German hip hop. The result was in her new album representing the past with the music she loved at the age of 13. The album touches on her first child who died at 11 months of a brain defect. But while most moms mourn. She said. I got to spend 11 amazing months. We will see each other again. The video for Oldschool takes all the mag clips, the single covers and 80s stars like ET, her band and they mouth the lyrics. Look for a cameo of American pop icon Madonna at the very end. With nena saying what is true. Globally no one was bigger for American acts as a female than Madonna.
