It's gonna be a slow process, but I still think it's progress. It went from outright refusal to being willing to (openly) transition to another conservator of the estate. 

I think it's also because if he accepted to step down, as in accepting Rosengart's request, that would imply he agrees that everything else that Rosengart said about him and the conservatorship in his document is true. When the time comes to press charges against him, Rosengart could use that as an argument "you resigned, because everything was true", so I think they're preparing for that.

I think this is a good sign anyways, because it means they're willing to step down if the judge asks for that, but they obviously trying to buy any minute they can before that happens.

How is Jamie gonna admit to the INSANE amount of money the estate spends on Lynne's home without realizing that makes him look just as bad, if not worse than Lynne?! Like, hello, YOU control the estate, ya idiot. You can say no to paying for that! He's literally confirming Rosengart's point that Britney needs a professional like Rubin managing her money, not an old hack who mismanages her money (not to mention steals and bankrupts businesses). Let’s hope Penny actually ask Jamie to step down and immediately. She keeps taking the safe option.
