i don't recognize her vocal tone around 2:05, it doesn't sound like her but that doesn't mean it isn't her
nice to be reminded there's so much to her vocal ability that is rarely heard

Girl, what do you expect?

1 - We're starving for new content, music as Britney's fans;

2 - RCA and Britney's official team (if she still has one) doesn't give a F and won't release new versions of songs nor unreleaseds or at least organize them for the fans... So, the fans have to do the job. It is what it is.

Based on what's been said, it's legit. The thing about this song is that it was never properly finished back then, so the only way to put together a version is what fans made with the mixing for this. Same thing happened with a couple.songs IIRC. Never Be Me (She'll Never Be Me was never the real name according to the writer, it was Never Be Me) doesn't have a final mix either. Just versions put together by fans.
