All things B-Team censored on the Jonathan Ross Show in 2016

So @PokemonSpears brought up the censorship on the Jonathan Ross Show in another thread and I only remembered they cut out the part about the conservatorship, but that's not true

I found this:

Britney Spears reportedly brought up her conservatorship while taping 'The Jonathan Ross Show'

A couple Britney fans attended the Britney interview that was recorded today for the Jonathan Ross show. The fan revealed that the show was really awkward and the interview lasted about 40 minutes, ending w/ a "Make Me" performance. The fan says he expects the show to cut "so much" of the interview.

- Brit was uncomfortable throughout the interview, denying a lot of the "fun" things they proposed & often answered with a short "yes" or "no"

- said that "Glory" is her baby because she couldn't really do what she wanted on the few previous albums due to her conservatorship.

- admits that due to her conservatorship, the music was brought to her finished and she had no say in decisions (allegedly it seemed as though she wanted to go more in depth but Jonathan changed subjects) probably cause he is not allowed to talk about it

- They brought out a tarantula and she ran off the stage

- Reveals she is obsessed with cooking rice

- Said she doesn't go to any parties in Vegas because they're filled with *****, hasn't smoked w**d since she was 17

- Talks about leaving the stage during "Circus" because everyone was smoking w**d & she was getting contact high

- Went backstage to kiss Alexander Skarsgard & refused to try Swedish food

- Admitted to farting while she performs

 

 

3 years? did something about it change in 2013 or did she just forget again?

 

Jesus, I'd kill to watch that full, uncut interview.

yeah, some members from Exhale attended the taping but there wasn't ever like a full review of everything that she said, or I just didn't see it. From everything that I read back then I always felt like there were more stuff they forgot to tell us, because of course they weren't going to memorize everything, but it was very frustrating.

Was all of this info leaked BEFORE OR AFTER the interview was aired? In this new era where everybody is an insider, I believe nothing. 

If this info leaked before the interview was aired, it actually makes sense but if it isn't, it sounds something a random fan woukd come up with just because...

i remember this all leaked before the interview aired. many people at the time on twitter tweeted about it

as @MM said, right before the taping people started to share little bits of info on Twitter and even here on Exhale.

But the info was so over the place, like they didn't make it clear the thing about the spider or the food was part of the game, or the "admitting to farting onstage".

 

Funny though, it was just the second anniversary on Sep 28th.

I remember all of this in 2016. Probably true. It was leaked before they aired it and some of them were actually true, so who knows. I mean, "3 years of conservatorship" (?) I can picture her saying that.

Yeah that's true, I think someone recorded her saying that but it was then deleted on Youtube.  

But yeah I remember that, I thought it was sad that she's still has no control over her art and her life, but at the same time I thought it was positive for her to bring the conservatorship since she has never ever ever talk about it before. It's crazy cause she's the boss, she's the employer of all these people around her, she gave the money, but she has to do what they are telling her to do. It's makes no sense. 

 

I hope that after 20 years in the industry, and for her 10th album she'll have the freedom to release whatever the **** she wants.

Now I understand her during FF, BJ eras, she really didn't want to do them that way, she really didn't want to be on the stages during FFT, it all makes sense. And then a little bit of light in 2016 for Glory... Oh, our poor baby

I don’t believe that she was uncomfortable. Jonathon Ross was one of her best interviews in years. But yeah at the time a fan on here went to the taping and confirmed she spoke about the conservatorship and being less in control but it wasn’t aired. It’s a shame cause I would have liked to have seen that.

I second this.

I remember reading all about this at the time of the recording (I tried SO damn hard to get tix) and thought we finally must have been getting some kind of breakthrough where she wants to start discussing more gritty aspects of her life.

I can't imagine she'd be uncomfortable if she would then disclose about her conservatorship. She even discussed smoking weed!

I think a lot of people have lost interest in Britney because she's kept everyone at arms length for so long, so hearing even just an ounce about this would've been nice for people.

What I don't understand is why they don't let her talk about the conservatorship. It's not like people and fans don't know. Was it the reason to be in it so bad that can't be spoken or there's something else. I mean maybe it is true that Britney has suffered exploitation from her team and lawyers and they don't want her to expose that. It's seems so weird.

I think when she says “3 years of conservatorship” she might mean they had control over her music for that long and now they have given her the freedom in that aspect...  Britney’s not the most coherent speaker anymore so who really knows what she means

The conservatorship has and continues to be such a double edged sword if you ask me. Watching performances from back in the day and then watching recent performances... It's like two entirely different people (don't get me started on my weed induced clone theories lol).

In all honesty, ***** is probably tired. But, like the rest of us (but on a much larger scale) she has bills to pay, her father to pay, KFed coming for that child support, etc....so whether she's into it or not, they'll continue to do whatever it takes to keep the cash flowing.

The die hards want what is best for her, but we also want new music and also want her on top again. Honestly, if the conservatorship ended I wouldn't be surprised if Britney retired for a while if not for good.

Does anyone else remember in 2014(?) when Britney signed a new contract or whatever it was revealed that one of the details of the contract was she would have final say in what she was releasing? I know we drag Pretty Girls but she seemed pretty happy with it, which would make sense if it was something she wanted to do

 

at the same time, the Glory era seemed to be cut too short. Like something happened. Make Me was delayed due to production difficulties, the video was canned, and we only got two singles. It makes me wonder if that was all on her team’s part or Britney’s if she truly is getting final say.
