It's official! Rihanna confirms she is headlining the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Here's my two cents:

I looooove Rihanna, yet I've never thought she is a good performer. However, I do think she will do an outstanding job. I bet she feels motivated and that will surely encourage her to put on a great show.

Does this mean that new music is finally dropping? I mean... it would be a great platform.

Don't know what to expect... She's been pregs, doesn't seem to have danced choreo in years (not because of shape but coordination and muscle memory) nor been interested in her music career.

Hope she prepared for this one.

Maybe I should’ve been more specific. After the ‘Loud’ era, she was awfully lazy on stage. She would barely dance, extend the mic to the crowd and choose her worst songs for a tour set list. After all, she had no break.

The good? She has a load of hits that everybody knows. 

 

The bad? I wouldn't personally ever wish to see her live. She's not a dancer. She's not a great singer. She hasn't had an era in years. 

 

But yeah better RiRi than some lame KPop group or Kings Of Leon or Taylor swift.

I don't think she's a very good live performer...good in videos though! Based on this thread, it seems many agree. Maybe she'll surprise us. At least she's got hits to get the crowd excited.

Rihanna’s 2016 vmas was pretty decent for her. Nothing amazing now as I re watch in anticipation of the big news. Ri had nvr been an amazing performer but it’s better than the ts option. She has 4 months to get an amazing routine down which she can Deff. 

 

i do feel Britney would of put on a better show even thou her being in not so well place in her life rn. 
 

hopefully Britney joins her on stage for an s&m remix feature.
