NEW Britney Spears sketch on SNL

Last night's episode opened with a Britney themed sketch. 

I think they did pretty good with it! I was worried that they would go with the the side who think her Instagram makes her seem crazy for comedic purposes, but the sketch pleasantly surprised me!

Let's face it, she did a good imitation of "current Britney". SNL sketches about Britney have always been funny, except for one or two that I think went too far, both her appearances and parodies about her have always been the best.

Not gonna lie, I was a lil nervous when I pressed play but that was actually good, I’m glad they weren’t insulting her, loved the JT dig, lol

Her impersonation was pretty spot on. I got very nervous when I saw they were doing a Britney sketch but it was actually quite funny and thankfully she wasn't the butt of the joke. I think Britney would find it funny.

The southern parody accent in beginning had me nervous, but this was basically how Britney pretends she talks now on social media.

Haha I thought it was great they gave her the respect she deserves. She wasn't the butt of the joke she was finally in on the joke in a theoretical sense. Also im surprised they shaded jt since he's SNL royalty lol

I was reading the comments and it seems people want this to be a reoccurring skit where the media's most recent people who are cancelled come on "britneys show" 

Its great seeing her get the love she deserves. Also them calling out her dad

I also heard they shared the girl from the mandalorian who was fired in this sketch as well.
