It really was amazing. A lot more people came than I thought were going to. In my Uber on the way downtown, I was checking Exhale and ppl were being so negative saying no one was there. But there was enough to fill up the entrance ways to the doors of the courthouse. On multiple sides of the building.

It was the perfect number because we were certainly seen and heard but we didnt cause any trouble. A lot of cars drove by and honked in support of the protestors. A lady literally pulled her car over to the protestors and asked about Britney. The Britney's Gram girl told her about the situation and the lady almost started crying. It was so lovely.

3:40 PM PT -- Britney just left the courthouse  ... no shoes, no socks -- barefoot. The courtroom was closed because her medical condition was discussed.  Unclear so far what happened, but check back soon.

4:45 PM PT -- Britney and her parents agreed on one thing during the hearing. According to court docs, the judge ordered an expert evaluation. 

The documents don't specify what the expert will be evaluating, but in conservatorship cases, it often involves a mental examination of the conservatee ... in this case, Britney. However, the judge says the parameters of that evaluation will be set by Jamie Spears and a court-appointed lawyer.

Additionally, we're told Britney asked the judge to allow her certain freedoms -- things she's not able to do under the conservatorship -- but the judge did not grant any of her requests.

we don't have the details, but before the court was cleared from outside people at her request through her lawyer he said Britney wanted to discuss medical matters, trade secrets and children .

I agree that this is another critical step forward. 

At least now we can watch a process to end the c-ship. Before this year there was no end it sight. I Hope by end of the year she is free.

I’m  so proud of the fans who showed up for the court date. Good job guys!! Even in 2007 there wasn’t anything like this going on. People want answers and for Britney to be free. Keep going ... 3/4 the way there..: now a long wait

I wonder if this competency evaluation is a chance for the judge to see whether or not Britney even needs the conservatorship?  I’m trying to find silver linings...but Jesus Brenda, why do you have to wait until August to meet again!?  It literally breaks my heart that Britney has no ability to have custody of her children.  They’re f**kin teenagers now...they’ll be adults soon.  This damn conservatorship has completely taken away Britney’s legal motherhood and that’s so beyond f**ked up.  She has visitation rights.  I’m appalled...I was a Child Protective Services social worker for 3 years...I dealt with some shitty parents who still weren’t completely stripped of their custody.
