The album still has some decent songs. Alien, Work B!+ch, Perfume, Til It's Gone, Hold On Tight are my top 5. Some of the others are okay. Don't like Chillin' With You though.

The Myah Marie controversy has definitely overshadowed the album though, I think me and a lot of others actually liked the majority of tracks when it came out. But I also think the album sounds very of its time.

I like the songs, but knowing that she doesn't sing in most of them is ridiculous, so I barely do. But "Work, *****" is a BOP! I don't care what the majority of the fan base may think, to me it's a great lead single.

Literally never. Work *****, Perfume, Alien and maybe Tik Tik Boom are the only songs I find listenable on that album. Everything else is bad, but at least the cover art is amazing. They really f'd up this album, and it's by far the worst in her discography.

I don't believe Myah Marie is singing the main vocals, but even if it's not a conspiracy theory, Britney Jean is still a really good album.

Not really, but Myah doesn't deserve the hates she gets for it either... I used to be pissed about it but now I don't think she knew it was going to end up how it did

Only Work *****. There are a few other tracks that I think are nice, nothing special though, but are tainted for me because of my overall feelings for the album/era.

Only WB. The whole album unfortunately just doesn’t have good songs, even if the vocal mix had been all Britney. They should have just left it as a WB single or at most an EP. It just sounds very incomplete. 
 

Even if Britney did a Taylor, and redid the vocals, the album is still her worst by far.

it's quite fascinating really. No other album, not even the "fan favorites" such as Blackout create such long conversations.

 

Try to make a thread about Oops, or Britney or ITZ, and you'll be lucky if it makes it past page 1, but make a thread about Britney Jean, and suddenly everyone has some opinion to share, negative or positive, but people just can't move on with it, almost 10 years later, and an album that had several re-releases and should've made everyone forget about it, Britney Jean is that girl that keeps giving everyone something to talk about
