Is it just me or is the whole situation surrounding Felicia and Britney incredibly sad?

I'm new here after watching the documentary. That being said, is it just me or does it seem like Felicia was purposely ripped from Britney's life because she wanted the best for her? They didn't hire her back to be her assistant, etc. Is there something I'm missing and she did something to wrong Britney or is this as sad as it looks? I remember back in the day when WorldOfBritney was a thing, and I remember hearing of Felicia but haven't followed anything closely in recent years. But it seems like keeping them apart has been done in the interest of keeping the conservatorship around to control Britney, and for her to have one less person who she loves and trusts around. 

I knew the situation was messed up, but until watching the doc and part of the deep dive, I wasn't aware of just how messed up it was.

It's so sad :/ especially after watching the Stages documentary which shows how much she did for Britney. I really hope they still stay in touch, somehow.

I think she was pushed out purposely too. She obviously cares about Britney. And I don’t think she’s stand for her being mistreated. So they keep her at a distance so she can’t do anything to help.

We don't really know how close they are or if any of them whatched the doc. Sure thing is not much time  needed for a supportive tweet. I honestly still expect more

I can't help but wonder a couple possibilities. I do see that Felicia seemed to step down/away when Britney was having her breakdown but it seemed to be because she didn't want to stand to see Britney having a downfall and didn't know how to help. I'm wondering if they had a small disagreement or falling out, maybe even in regard to Britney getting help and taking care of herself, and Jamie & Co. used that to drive a more permanent wedge between them. I stopped really following Britney around 2007-2008 but I vaguely remember hearing that her and Felicia had parted ways, but I think it had to do with her spiraling and Felicia saw nobody was helping.

She on the doc said something like her new team didn't know who was Britney's circle and what role she used to have back then. But I do believe they were more close on Vegas than in the Circus and the FFT.

I remember her saying that but she seems like a mixture of the kind of person who is way too nice to say something crude, and saying something negative could impact her ability to see Britney again. Maybe she was just an assistant but all those photos and memories it seems like she was more of a friend than anything else, and it seems really sad that they aren't in touch now. If Britney didn't seem like an extremely loyal person who loved her friends and family, it wouldn't seem so weird, but it just seems strange to me.

After hearing Fe explain how she was brought back and seeing that even she was surprised by it, like Jamie knew Fe’s role in Britney’s career and how much she cares for her, so why not bring her back?? Why did a touring company have to do it and keep her in the background?? To me, it felt like Jamie just wants people who don’t care about Britney around her. People who actually care about her, might inform her that stuff happening ain’t right and that could harm his big money maker (the CON).

The whole Felicia thing made me sad because I believe wholeheartedly that she’s a good person and has only wanted the best for Britney. 

My only confusion is her relationship with Lynne. Aren’t Lynne and Felicia close friends? Surely Felicia wouldn’t go spilling any beans without consulting Lynne. So does Lynne support it and gave her blessing for Fe to go on and speak about it because legally she can’t? Or is Fe her own person and was doing this regardless? It just opens up so many questions. I get she never said anything bad but the comment about not being rehired during the Circus era was a bit direct towards team B. Wouldn’t Lynne have had a say in Felicia coming back into contact with Britney? It just seems so odd.

I actually hadn't thought about it in that way. Even though Lynne has definitely used her daughter for money and hasn't been the best I don't think she's anywhere near as bad as Jamie, and with him being the conservator who decides who is around Britney.... would he really want his ex's best friend, who would be able to report to Lynne what was going on with Britney, around to get information? She's probably not even allowed to talk to Britney. This entire thing is a tragedy.

Britney was a stranger to Jamie in 2008.

Because of that, Jamie wasn't aware of Felicia's past role, and wasn't aware of how much control Britney used to have over her own career.

On top of that...Jamie is a true abuser, and likes to isolate Britney from others who may sway her in one direction or another.

Sadly I think it's mostly the last sentence. Abusers use their knowledge to control. I think it's less that he didn't know that she and Felicia were close (she's Lynne's friend and was there from the beginning), and the more I think about it I realize that she wasn't hired because they were close and has likely been intentionally isolated. And it's incredibly sad. You can tell by the look in Felicia's eyes just how much she loves Britney when she talks about her. You don't get many friends or even family members in your life like that, famous or not.

Fe left to become the Jonas brothers assistant when Brit had Brett.. whos exit wasn't clear either...

When Brit went back to do FF, Robin was then clearly in the picture up until 2019. Robin was probably her assistant the longest, no?

I know she is employed by her and named on the tris website as a 'client specialist'. But she is in a few of the album booklet thank yous, although we know brit must not even look at these.

Fe just reminds me of everything good that Britney should be surrounded with, and the support system that she should have had from her entire family. Bless this woman, I hope they get to do this again someday 🥺

I got the sense that Brett was just an "assistant" who ran errands.

But Robin seemed like more...In the same way that Felicia was more.

The sad thing is that Felicia was there in place of Britney's mom, acting as a legal guardian, while Robin was there in place of Lou, to keep an eye on their "racehorse."
