I highly doubt this is true. Artists never buy their contracts out. A more common practice is releasing GH albums or compilations so that the contract could be completed - no expenses and some nice stuff for the fans

I'm guessing and I am not a lawyer but, wouldn't that have to prove In court that britney was basically a prisoner. They don't even have loofah Trashlor in court yet. 

 

The queen us possibly being threatened by the record label. I don't doubt she would pay them to cut ties and release an album on her own.

i really don’t think britney is contracted to sony any more… i think that’s why they keep releasing things to figure out what their next step is. britney was unable to sign any legal documents the entire time of her conservatorship… soooo unless there is a clause that specifically talks about the conservatorship being dropped i think britney can do what she wants… but technically i’m sure they would have to go to court to figure out the actual logistics

It wasn’t a fraudulent conservatorship though. The courts allowed it to happen. Did Jamie abuse her under the conservatorship? Yes. But the conservatorship was perfectly legal in the eyes of the law and that’s what’s ****ed up.

There’s no need to “dig”, the bulk of these are finished & submitted to the label
