Britney fans need to accept that she’s done with music and owes us absolutely nothing

This is something that I think we are all thinking but no one wants to acknowledge  

I think she has made it very clear that she has done “more than enough” and is ready to focus on her own life. Of course I’d love a new album or a tour but I’ve accepted it and I’m not expecting anything from her anytime soon. (like within the next 10 years) With that being said, I will be purchasing two copies of her book, a new album if ever there is, be at the meet and greet if she ever does one again and will always support her 

I’m sorry but I think it’s something that should be accepted now rather than constant meltdowns and who knows what this fan base would do each year that she didn’t release any music  

What are your thoughts and are you okay with never getting Britney music again? 

PS I think her book will be her farewell to us

I reckon she will make a comeback in about 5 years... And come back bigger than ever.

I'm fine with that... I wasn't thrilled with the rumours of her working on new material tbh and I couldn't think why at the time... But now I realise now is just not the right time. 

She deserves to live her life, have her baby and get some normality back.  The thing that frightens me is she appears to have developed a fear of interviews and possibly performing... And the longer break she takes this might get worse to the point she doesn't want to perform again... Or on the other hand everything may settle and she may get the burn to get back on stage. 

Either way, I'm happy for her. I just have a tiny feeling we haven't seen the last of her. In the words of Brinti herself

The truth is, and y’all can hate on me for saying it. Britney to the mass audience will not be able to be “****” in her 50s strutting around on stage in underwear lip syncing her songs.

What she should do is write and sing a new album when she’s ready and become the artist her label and team kept her from being. 
 

She’s done and she deserves to be done without having to justify it. She worked her *** off and gave us everything and then some. 

the hard part for me isn’t Britney leaving but watching the fan base fade away on this forum because that’s inevitable.

See, I just find that hard to believe. She’s definitely been writing stuff, if not songs, then poetry and her autobiography. Then we see her posting all these dance videos and we’re supposed to believe Mona Lisa is done making music?

To be honest, $60 million is a lot of money, but it isn't a lot in terms of being a celebrity and officially retiring, especially with the costs of everything involving a celebrity.

She will have to comeback or do something eventually. Even the stars who "retire" come back for touring, etc.

I hope she makes a super mature and artistic album in the next 5 years. I want her to really evolve.

I love Britney and she will always be my favorite but I am not really wanting new music from her because I can tell she isn't into it anymore and anything produced after what she has gone through won't be meaningful.

I dont think shes done with music but I totally understand that she does not give a fv¢k about making new music or anything remotely related to that. 

Imagine you are taken 14 years away of your life, 14 years that you had to work for other people under such embarrasing circumstances and now you are finally free and able to live your life under your own terms the last thing you would like to do is precisely go back to the same dynamics you were under for 14 freaking years. 

Ofc I would like her to release something as soon as possible but what would it be like? Another forced Circus era 2.0? No thanks.

I hope, whatever she chooses to do, she does it by heart, if she decides to retire and go live in a farm away from Hollywood Im ok with it, or if she wants to release an album, do a world tour and make heavy promo, Im also here for that. 

By the way, dont expect anything about her anymore. Shes a person whose freedom as just been reestablished, leave her live her life.

I do think she is tired of the showbizz… everything she has been putted into… anyone of us wouldn’t be strong enough, to go through the storm like she did….

obviously while she is pregnant she will not be able to perform, but then again wasn’t blackout made while pregnant? 

the thing is, if she releases anything it would be for us the fans, i believe she really likes us, and she knows we want music…. So my guess is if she makes music again will be a fan album, with a lot of material that we would like…. 

but, I am happy that she is everyday a step closer to happiness, and if her happiness is aside music i am 100% by her side…

Well it’s 2022 and she hasn’t released music since 2016 so I think we are good with that. Seening her being a mother and the releasing of her book is great to us. 
 

We have to thanks for the clearly about her career and life with the confirmation she does online. Back then in the conservatorship everything was a blur, like we weren’t sure what was happening and if what was happening was real. It was a mess. Now we have Britney begin honest at the last

After being pregnant at 40? Girl. She could slay with stage presence, good music and visuals. 

I think she could slay a dance routine for one of her songs but not the whole show like she did in her 20s

But I think Britney isn’t really thinking about it, she is exploring other sources of income. 
 

Maybe she becomes bigger than music just like Rihanna did

$15 million dollars for a book, $5-15 million for an Oprah interview and who knows what other stuff she has planned before retiring. Almost $100 million, I think she’s good  also she’s no longer in a conservatorship anymore so she won’t be spending all that useless money ever again. Not to mention the extra $$$$ Rosengart will get her through insurances and not to mention if he goes after the state

A 40 years old artist retiring is depressing.
