Blind gossip about Britney/Paris Hilton wedding

Yes, she was invited to the big celebrity wedding.

She had known Bride for decades and was excited about being part of her special day.

Then she started getting uneasy about the event.

I don’t know if I would call her paranoid but she has gotten really suspicious about people’s motives. She can’t even trust her own family anymore.

What changed her mind about the wedding?

The ask changed.

She thought she was going to be a regular wedding guest and just have a good time and cut loose.

What she didn’t expect was to be asked to sign a release and get filmed. Plus she didn’t want her first musical performance in a while to be for someone else’s benefit.

She wants total control over her image now and she wasn’t sure if she was getting used by [Bride] for publicity so she just decided to make an excuse and avoid it.

Our Singer is not as innocent as she used to be. She is standing up for herself and saying “No.”

It’s great that she feels free to do that now!

It will be interesting to see if the Bride whose wedding she skipped attends Our Singer’s own wedding when the time comes.

I was also wondering about it, but maybe it was going to be to much for Brit, and her mind was on the conservatorship termination, Im sure Paris understands, she has been very supportive of her

It's not that surprising she wasn't there.

Why would she want to attend Paris' wedding the day before her freedom? And amongst celebrities who she hasn't interacted with in years?

By all accounts they're casual acquaintances it seems and given the timing, it just didn't work out. 

If Paris' wedding was later in the year I think there would have been more chance of her going.

Can you imagine how the media would portray that? We haven't seen Britney and Paris together since 2008 (!!!), if she somehow attended her wedding and they released pictures media would bring up the infamous 2006 pictures of them partying together, Britney without underwear and **** like that and that would NOT be a cool thing for Britney, there would be nasty people saying "see, she is only partially free and the first thing she did was go out with Paris Hilton again". But anyway, considering Paris' post today everything is fine between them. Britney doesn't need any excuse to not attend her wedding because it happened a day before a court hearing that would change her life. I know I wouldn't want to go out and party with friends knowing my future is being defined a few hours after.

No, that wouldn't happened AT ALL. Where have you been lately? Have you seen the docs? The media literally apologized towards Britney being always negative to her.

I think the real reason she didn't go is because of the court hearing and the tabloids have just tried to make a more interesting story out of it lol

Paris invited Britney to her wedding. Britney thought she was gonna be just another guest.

Then, Paris let her know that it was going to be a filmed event and it seems that she even asked her to sing at the event.

Britney got the impression that Paris just invited her for publicity so she made up an excuse to decline the invite.

The last several blinds that have seemingly been about her were very much written like team con sent them in, super negative. I was glad this didn’t come across too negative. I’m sure she was invited and there could be several reasons she didn’t go, just the timing with her court date alone is a good enough reason. Hopefully Paris isn’t offended and that she really wasn’t trying to use Britney for attention. Last thing Britney needs now is less people she can trust.

Their relationship always seemed, and still does, one sided to benefit Paris and her image. I hope Britney stays clear of her. Paris seems like a nice enough woman, but she is addicted to fame and Britney brings her more.

Do we know if they are genuinely close? I know a lot of people claim to have been close with her and exaggerated it a bit but honestly how do we know really know? 

I like Paris and I want them to be friends but maybe Britney sees her more as an acquaintance. It happens
