  1. Honestly... After such a good lead single I expected the whole album to have this calm, s/xy vibe but instead of that we got some boring outtakes
  2. Too lazy to make a whole write-up, so here's a list of some albums that came out this year and are relevant to a pop music forum: Which of these met or even exceeded your expectations? Which ones didn't? Also, I only included gays, women, and queerbaiters.

  4. Here’s my top 5!!! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 Vocaroo | Online voice recorder VOCA.RO Vocaroo is a quick and easy way to share voice messages over the interwebs.
  5. I’ll go first: Kelly Clarkson - ‘Stronger’ One of those albums with SO many great radio songs. They ended the era early to move on to the cash grab of a greatest hits, but there were SO many great potential single choices left. “Let Me Down” and “I Forgive You” would have absolutely smashed.
  6. According to Amazon Italia. Renaissance Act I will reportedly celebrate black music and culture and will include several past hits. The songs are said to be uptempo with a strong dance, house & techno orientation. 😱👑
  7. So yesterday I discovered Kacey Musgraves "Golden Hour" and I'm kinda shocked I liked it for context I can't stand country, mainly because of the cowboy, banjos, "my wife" stereotypes ingrained in EVERY LYRIC and because of this I just haven't ever delved deep into the genre (maybe I'm judging harshly) but this album & her voice are just so pretty, I was pleasantly surprised what albums/songs did you not expect to love as much as you did?

  9. Albums that sounded good in the past but now it just ain't it for some reason. For me: My Everything by Ariana Grande - this album was released in 2014, the era that made me her fan, I think singles like Problem and Break Free now sound kinda weird and overdone. These aren't bad songs tho. I still like singles like Love Me Harder and One Last Time but the rest of the album... Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande - it was released in 2016, singles like Side To Side, Into You, Dangerous Woman are okay but I don't listen to em anymore as the just became boring. The rest of the album is really weak imo. ARTPOP by Lady Gaga - even if the album was released in 2013, I became obsessed with it three, four years later and I thought it was ahead of its time at that time but now... no.
  10. My favorite albums are: Blackout and the only song I don't like is Freakshow I don't listen Why Should I Be Sad? that much as well cause it's kinda boring so it's kinda a skip for me as well In The Zone, I skip Brave New Girl and The Hook Up, these songs took other amazing unreleased songs' place like Strangest Love, Welcome To Me, Pleasure You etc

  12. Ok Ladies - what’s your Taylor album ranking - based off of what your faves are, not critical acclaim or technical reasons. Also - Why’s your ranking your ranking? Here’s My Ranking: #1 - Folklore (this was hard because it was a tossup between this, Evermore & Red - but like damn this album just captivates me every time I listen to it. It’s painful AF and an emotional rollercoaster of an album, but it just is perfection in every way to me. Am I basic for picking this as my fav? Yes - but I accept that #2 - Red - love this album. I don’t necessarily enjoy every single song on it but it just takes me back to really good times - kind of like folklore it just really captured a moment in time for me. #3 - Evermore - cute album, great songs that are complete vibes & Evermore the song is one of my fav T-Swift songs ever. Just a nice listen all around. #4 - Reputation - what’s not to like? Bops on bops bops. Call it what you want is one of my all time faves as well. #5 - Fearless - I love this one. I listened to a lot of it in secret as a teen and reconnected with it when she released it as Taylor’s version. It just makes me smile. #6 - Flopper (you’re my my my... flopper) - the album is a semi flop to me, but also something very enjoyable about it. Idk if it’s just me but it sounds kind of cheap? Like almost low-fi in a cheap way, not sound vibe. Still love a good chunk of songs on flopper though! #7 - Speak Now - I have to get to know this one better, but I love a good handful of songs on here #8 - 1989 - idk why but I just don’t vibe with this one. It’s in all purposes good - but I just feel mehhh about it. It’s cute and I like a few songs here, but idk I guess it’s generic to me. Sowwwy (me getting ready for backlash: #9 - Taylor Swift - never heard it. I’m going to wait for Taylor’s Version. Your turn!
  13. Every Janet Jackson album ranked. Do you agree, Exhale? List here:
  14. I came across this video today discussing how albums/eras in the modern streaming age have lost the rollouts that can make an album/era so intriguing and engaging. Just FYI, he tends to discuss a lot of hip hop artists, but also discusses some major pop stars like The Weeknd, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Kanye West. Personally, I agree with him that these type of rollouts where the entire era is an experience and pulls you in and keeps you begging for the next thing have been on their way out lately. It’s part of the reason I’m so mad The Weeknd didn’t get any Grammy nominations. Not only was his After Hours album my favorite album of 2020 and my favorite album he’s done, he created a whole new world and era with a new character that he stayed in character for for a year. I wish more artists would do this again, especially newer artists. What are your thoughts on this?
  15. Some talking points What vinyls do you have or purchased? When did you get your vinyl(s)? What machine do you use to play it? Speakers? What special attatchments do you have with them? Why did you buy all the circus vinyls so I have to buy them for close to $100 on amazon? Lastly, if you or a member of your family has been diagnosed with methoselioma... jk I just bought blackout special edition vinyl with red and black splatter. Yes it looks like diarrhea or raw meat. It's gorgeous and I love it. I'm torn between getting femme fatale or in the zone on amazon next. I don't have a machine yet, I feel it's more important to buy the special ones first beforehand. For the people not collecting, why are you not interested?
  16. "Stapka Napred" by bulgarian artist Mihaela Marinova. Her monthly listeners are low because in Bulgaria they mostly use YouTube, but she is kinda known there. I think that she needs to go to Eurovision, what do you think? I hope you like it!
  17. I'd have to say "Lotus" by Xtina - even though it contains "Blank Page" "Caution" by Mariah... What do you guys have in mind?

  20. So i have recently been inspired from 2 great exhalers ( @MrPieceOfMe and @ILikeChillinWithYou) for having created this game. Throughout the years of the 2010s many albums by female artist have been released that have left their mark in the industry. So according to you, which was the pop perfection album that defines the 2010s. So the rulers are pretty simple! There will be 5 rounds (might extend if there’s an increase of popularity) Female pop albums released this decade will be choosen and competed against To make the game more intense, I will put it into slots as a 1v1 I hope you guys have fun (Please not albums like Melodrama, Beyoncé and Golden hours aren’t included as they r alternative, Rnb and country)
