I work in mental health and I’ve been saying something similar for a while! This is how she gains attention. It’s how she “plays the game” with the media so to speak. And for years she was told she had to act and look a very specific way. So this is also a F you to the people who controlled her for so long because she is gaining attention in the “wrong way” and not the way she has always been told to.

I think Kevin and Victoria said all these things and were ok with her reporting it until they realized that it was a bad look for them. Also, that she said some harsh things about them too and didn’t paint them in the best light. They’re just trying to do damage control now but it’s too late. This is why you never let reporters into your home and around your (and Britney’s) kids.

If she ever wants to revamp her image and have a “comeback” of some sort, then yes. She needs a whole new team. that said, if she doesn’t care about any of that, then who cares. She can still bring in a decent income/live off what she has. So if she just wants to play on IG and release the odd song then so be it 🤷♀️

Grammy winners are voted by people in the industry not the public. The industry people don’t take her seriously. She doesn’t write a lot of her own music, she lip syncs on stage a lot and she’s been known to either rely heavily on background singers or have heavily edited vocals. I love her but it’s the truth and the insiders know it. If she ever came out with a powerful vocal album that she is heavily involved in writing and producing then I think they would possibly let her win one more… Plus… people like Beyoncé buy half their Grammys.. just sayin.

Mental Health and Disability Rights...How can we do better?

I work in mental health and have been a long time Britney fan since day 1. I think there are many fans who need to educate themselves on mental health in general and recognize just how common it is and that it’s OKAY to acknowledge it. I think a lot of fans are in denial about Britney’s mental health struggles even though it has long been documented. (And I’m not talking about the fake dementia claims). That said, it could also be unfair to Britney to have the whole world discussing her mental health when she herself rarely acknowledges it in public. Definitely a tricky situation. But I think the first step is just education. -
Before this thread gets too out of hand. I just want to state some things. I work in mental health and addictions and have for 15 years. It’s OKAY if she’s not okay mentally. It’s OKAY and COMMON to have a mental health condition. It is her right and choice as an adult to not take medications, especially after being forced to for so many years. And does not in ANY way justify a conservatorship. It is sad that this was filmed and sent to TMZ. Very reminiscent of 2007 days. I feel for her. She should be able to live privately after years of performing for the world, and being forced for years to be in the limelight. I wish TMZ and everyone would leave her alone. Also, before everyone blames sam for leaving. It is HARD to be a close family member of someone with mental health concerns. And she had a body guard with her the entire time. and lastly, everything is here say. And videos can also be taken out of context.
