Kevin Federline slams Daily Mail reporter Daphne Barak for her story linking Britney to m***: she fabricated lies

Kevin Federline slams Daily Mail reporter Daphne Barak for her clickbait story with unfound accusations aimed at Britney. 

On Saturday, Barak published a story with apparent quotes from K-Fed claiming he worried Britney was abusing substances. The piece also dragged Britney and Kevin's sons into the story against their will. Now, K-Fed is walking things back. 

He gave a quote to another trash tabloid trying to clear the air (and probably an attempt to not be sued into oblivion and keep his child support of $40K a month intact): "It saddens our family that Daphne Barak and Erbil Gunasti have decided to fabricate lies and publish the heart ache our family has endured, along with the trauma of our minor children in the Daily Mail and The Sun," he tells TMZ. "We did allow Daphne & Bill into our home because we trusted them, but that trust was lost and we severed ties back in March for many reasons we choose not to go into here."

He continues, "It is very distressing that she continues to harass our family when we have repeatedly asked her to leave us alone.  As was previously published, our family did speak with Ms. Barak and Mr. Gunasti a few times, and this was done in a respectful way with love & compassion for Britney and the Spears family. Her lies and attempts to exploit minors is click bait and another repulsive example of where, unfortunately, certain journalism has sunk today."

In case you forgot, Kevin willingly filmed an interview with Barak last year, which included an appearance from Jayden. Britney caught wind of their words at the time and shared an audio message with the world: "It was a miracle I could even have a normal conversation when I got out of that place,” Britney previously said - referring to when her family placed her into a mental health facility against her will in 2019. "You secretly loved looking at me as if something was wrong with me." 

She continued: "As you undermine my behavior just like my whole family always has with, ‘I hope she gets better, I will pray for her,'" she said. “Pray for what? I keep working so I can pay off mom’s legal fees and her house? Do you guys want me to continue to get better so I can continue giving your dad 40 grand a month?"

"I didn’t need a family hiding s**t in houses and whispering s**t behind my back — feeling subconsciously guilty because I paid for every ****ing thing in both homes. I needed unconditional love and support,” she said. "But guess what — I was [in] the greatest state I'd ever been because I was able to speak up 100% and say no."

He invited the most sensationalist journalist to his home in several occasions, she’s the same person who was obsessed with the death of Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse, what did he expect to happen?

Part of me thinks he did this so TMZ would FINALLY report on that disgusting article (since they have a bigger reach, even if he's denying - although doesn't specify what exactly as TMZ notes - convenient) and the other part believes that insane Daphne woman is really harassing everyone going after another tragic celeb story like she did to Amy Winehouse in her final months among others... yuck either way

I noticed that too. Seems like a sneaky way to get it out there and try to play innocent. 

We can only hope there is a little war going on between those two so they bury each other while Britney laughs from Thousand Oaks.

Something tells me Kfed and the boys didn’t want to go to the lengths Daphne did, and pulled the plug. Since she already had documentation of all of this, she released it, and in the process dragged Kevin through the mud as well (his lawn, house, Hawaii child support). But I 100% believe they trusted her enough to say she was using m-eth, but just regretted their statements after.

 

Something also tells me Britney’s team reached out, and shut this down. We know they have ties with TMZ. I was just thinking to myself this morning, “why hasn’t TMZ reported on this?”, they would normally eat this up.

I think K-Flop broke with Daphne too because Rosengart has threatened to bury them in legal debt if they kept up with their antics.

Didn't they knew this lady was bad news? They didn't have involve Britney in their little documentary. But of course, they wanted a story.
