Even though I’ve heard her testimony 15-20x already, it was really powerful to see and hear it edited with the selective text the way they did it.  I hope this moves people the way it should.  Beginning to think Britney fans have the biggest hearts.

Guys don't forget that this documentary is not for us. It's for the GP. And for them it's great. Yes, they needed to cover 2007-2008, but even with that they were respectful, not showing the headshaving. And they did touch up on Lou at least. Yes NYT went deeper with part two, but they already put down the basics in part one.

 

Even for me there were new insights, the doctor for example. The FTR directors letter, the Rolling Stones journalists paper which was signed in the bathroom.

It was ok, nothing new for fans but good for GP  Also love how the director is a fan of Britney and understands her impact, power, legacy etc.  Britney's streaming probably will go up after all of these parts with her songs

It actually irked me when they were showing footage from Circus tour and they inserted video from POM where she performed Circus.. like really? What 2014 has to do with 2009?

Agree with the comments. It wasn't groundbreaking. BUT it also wasn't a documentary for people who were close to the movement. This, to me, served as a fairly good introduction for those who are maybe mildly interested but don't have the greatest idea of exactly what's happened to Britney. It brought awareness to the masses, worldwide, and featured a lot of her court testimony. 

So - imo it will bring more people into the fold - and pile on the pressure even more to terminate swiftly and enact justice.

The doc was amazing. I cried and cried and cried. I thought it was beautifully done and really showed more about the conservatorship. Sometimes I'm embarrassed to be a part of the Britney Army because they always find something to complain about instead of being grateful for the time and effort it took to do this doc.
