Real Talk! Why do we believe everything to be true and why are all bad things not her fault?

I’ve been a die hard fan since 98, but as the years have gone, girl has shown us time and time again that she isn’t perfect and she makes mistakes. My question is why do we take her word for everything now .. and never question that there may be 2 sides to every story.
 

I’m not talking about the conservatorship as a whole, but we as a fan base have villanized everyone around her and blamed everyone for her shortcomings. 

I believe in Free Britney, but I also don’t believe everyone is a villain. We really don’t know her , nor anyone around her. Girl has changed since 2004, just like all of us have. 
 

So from a psychological level I just wonder why we never doubt anything she says or does … without blaming others.

I love her and I respect her, but I don’t put her on this pedestal that she never wanted to be on.

It's a great question.

For example, the recent story about the housekeeper could be 100% true...We've heard time and time again that Britney has anger issues (and frankly, who wouldn't in her situation? Can't blame her a bit.)

Fans seem to have a hard time believing that Britney has flaws, and just like the rest of us, is human.

Well if you mean the latest news about the housekeeper, I think it's all about the timing, WHO is reporting it, HOW is being reported... I don't think "we" think she is flawless: I think it's very easy and not new at all (hi 2007/08) to paint her as "crazy Britney Spears strikes again".

Some of us didn't ask too many questions back then... we are asking now.

It can be true? Sure. But it's very... interesting that this is coming out right now. Especially from TMZ.

Sooo what act is she responsible for in the consequence of her Constitutional rights being taken away? What has she been charged with? Where is her trial? This is all info that should be public. You don't lock someone up for life and not publicize the verdict. Why has Britney served 13 years under this without a trial, and based on sealed documents? TMZ has always been on Jamie's side, and the campaign to sabotage Britney has been way to obvious these last few weeks. 

Doubting the medias is common sense. Jamie lately spent $500 000 on a media campaign to defend the conservatorship. 

As for Britney's Instagram, I won't believe anything until I hear it from her mouth.

Nobody is saying Britney doesn’t have flaws. We know so much more now than we did 13 years ago, particularly when it comes to how TMZ works, who they side with and why. As far as I’m concerned Britney deserves to be given the benefit of ALL the doubt!!

 If some of you can’t see that what is happening is a PR smear campaign against Britney at the hands of her own father and his lawyers which SHE pays for in an effort to sway the court and the public’s support for her and possibly cause Judge Penny to reconsider Jamie’s removal as the sole conservator of her estate, then I really don't know what to say to you all at this point.

Less than 6 weeks until the next hearing…

Britney has been “perfect” for 13 years. She even got a short, Karen bob and was just about as boring as you could possibly be. She even got engaged to Jason Trainwreck, the most boring person on the face of the planet!!!

Your question is obviously valid, but awful timing because it seems like you're bringing this up right after that stupid TMZ story about the housekeeper. No one is saying that she's perfect because obviously no one is but she IS super sweet and respectful, so do not even doubt her. That story is slander. And even if she did whatever that story says... After all that she's been through (and put through), let that woman smash cars with umbrellas and slap phones out of people hands, I'd be right behind her holding her purse.

What I never liked about Britney is her not getting deeper into things, all things: from her music career to her political views. But even then I can't say sh/t because that's her choice and even her personality, and I've got nothing to do with that. Over the years I got used to accepting whatever she wants to give. But that's almost always beautiful or, at least, honest. And sweet. And I appreciate that over anything else, especially coming from someone I don't really know...

Having said all that... Guys, CALM DOWN. Being aggressive towards anyone in this thread pretty much proves his point of the fan base villainizing anyone beyond belief as soon as they go against her in the slightest.

Also, it makes Britney look like she can't defend herself. She's been in a very delicate situation for many years but no one can say that this woman isn't strong or courageous, so she'll get through this.

I know what you mean about not wanting to assume things when we don’t have the full picture, but for me it’s the fact that there’s so much evidence that points toward the conservatorship being unethical and terrible for her mental health. So might some of the less flattering stories about Britney from the last 10, 15 years even, be true? Sure, it’s possible. But there’s such a bigger issue at hand, and unless it was something REALLY extreme, I don’t think I’d really fault the behaviour of someone who has been and continues to go through such violation and trauma.

You’re crucified on here for 1). being rational or a mediator and 2). not believing in conspiracy theories. Britney’s online stans have created a hostile environment and conditioned themselves to believe that everyone in Britney’s life is wrong except for Britney, herself. She could literally be neglecting her own dog and they would still find a way to blame everyone else in her life. It’s like they only hear what they want to hear.

The media campaign against Britney is not a conspiracy theory.

Being rational means questioning the medias. Especially when you know her father literally spent $500 000 on medias these last few months.
