Frankie8
He could have used the same boring blah blah blah type speeches they do, but went for a speech he knew would bring more attention to it. We stan a Queen whose songs are mentioned in government proceedings. They fit perfectly without sounding awkwardly thrown in there. Link to comment
epskilonme
I watched I Care a lot yesterday and I can imagine just how Britney feels, no voice, without anything, the hopelessness she is in, without some one to ask help to. Her family is part of the problem sadly. I hope this is already the start of Freeing Britney. We can only wait of how the system works currently. Link to comment
jordeezy river red
I just feel like the song references make this look like a joke. Sorry, we need to be taken seriously and not just as gays who only care about pop culture references while hoping to pass something in law. Link to comment
GlitterSlayDExhaleHI
Glad for change and it’s definitely a positive moment/outlook, but I was humiliated laying in bed at home listening to the Britney song references in the speech. This is not a joke. It’s a serious matter. We don’t need to be looked at as a mockery. I know some may not see any issue with it, but I didn’t like it. Still, good news. Edit: didn’t read any replies before responding. Glad others feel the same @jordeezy Link to comment
