They’re all ******* monsters. Everyone acts SO over sensitive about everything, yet when it comes to Britney it’s even fair game to call her children mistakes. WTF? The smallest #metoo rumor makes people all serious and political, yet straight up bullying someone is okay. 

It makes me sick that MTV literally set it all up. They wanted her to embarrass herself and then to get made fun of on the very same stage by a loser like Sarah Silverman.

This world disgusts me. I hope someday soon Britney is free and everyone who wronged her will pay. She should never have collaborated with them again. But what does her ******* team care, anyway? They let Perez Hilton open her tour.

I forgot just how misogynistic everything was just a short time ago. It still is, but people are more aware of and outspoken against misogyny now. 

It was just so normal to blame the woman for everything. Why were tabloids so obsessed with her and her body?!? Why did the stupid reporter ask about "her breasts"? Why would the old Star Search host ask about boys? Why is that even a thing? Why not ask what her favorite subject in school is, her favorite hobbies? It's infuriating. 

I'm glad we've come a long way, but it's not fair how Britney was treated all throughout her career.

Yes! This is one of the people I really wish would apologize to Britney. She was making fun of someone who was obviously troubled behind her back, and what's worse, joking about her kids. What an *******.

I don't think there's any need for a witch-hunt, but Diane is definitely a reasonable place to start. Personally, I'm just glad everyone seems to have finally realized how messed up the situation was/is, and that the majority of us were accomplices (out of sheer ignorance/immaturity or not). Though, it's still bittersweet that we get to revel in the fact that we've grown, but Britney will never get back the years that were stolen from her.

This!  The fact she got more popular after that pisses me off further. The amount of people that benefited off Britney, not just the person but also her dark situation, is just so disheartening. I wouldn't want to be in the industry anymore if that happened to me.

I don't really think this was that great on Craig's part... He said he wasn't going to make jokes about her but then went on and on about alcoholism and basically alluded to the fact that Britney was an alcoholic, when we all know there was MUCH more going on than substance abuse issues. The narrative around this time continues to be that she had alcohol / **** problems and I don't believe that was the case at all.
