I know but the shape of the stage, font and photoshoot are edgy and stuff. Even the colors black and red mean something, and Britney's no stranger to bdsm. Many of her performances have had that theme through the years.

I give you the point just for David L. The rest of them have told nice things about her, Ellen recently leaked some outtakes from the Blackout session, Mario Testino has worked twice with her and the last one was in two years ago, Mark Liddell keeps posting some of the Circus era outtakes so I wouldn't say they don't want to work her, maybe they are not dying for it but it's not like if team B approached to them they will immediately say no.

Reading through comments from ET Canada someone who was actually there at the event and is familiar with such events in Vegas, this is what happened:

I used to work in marketing at a very large music festival. I organized Meet & Greets and managed all interaction with the talent and fans.  When we had a huge event(s) like this, security was always anxious about safety issues. We were always told to keep the talent moving and DO NOT let them stop for fan interactions.This is because fans start pushing, people fall, and the safety gates sometimes collapse. 

As you see in the video, she stops for the interview, production informed management and publicist of audio problems,  then Britney tries to sign autographs and the team swiftly stops her, and then ****** her to safety. 

-The event was ill-planned. 
Having a huge event in the middle of Vegas was a huge safety risk due to the shootings that happened at the country music festival.  Britney seemed terrified to be standing out in the open on the staircase. 

Note: You can tell the mic was cutting out when they were announcing her name.

The whole event was very poorly planned, which is probably why they had the delays and everyone seemed lost because nothing was going according to whatever plan they had. But Vegas security is one of the most tightest, which is why instead of waiting it out, they just kept on moving.

It was primarily due to the audio problems. Mario was having audio problems too. So they still would have continued to ****** her out. That's what Vegas security is told to do. I'm not excusing their poor planning though.

But it didn’t bother me as much as it did everyone else. Lady Gaga announced her residency on a tablecloth covered folding table in front of a basic step and repeat.

Britney/her team don’t have to do the things they do but whether most people can see it or not they do try to please the fan base. 

She cares more about her legacy than people think or they would have just tweeted about the new residency and done a press release.

I actually believe they were having BTS issues as well.

They put effort into this event. The CGI graphics on the building, the screens on the mutilple trucks driving through Vegas, Collaborating with Ellen and Mario Lopez. It makes no sense to do all of that and then within that same orignal plan for Britney to literally just walk from point A to B. I definitely feel like something else was planned but things didn't go accordingly; so that plan changed to just get her safely to the SUV and out. 

Even I felt uncomfortable when they kept showing the hotel beforehand because it kept reminding me of the Vegas shootings. Mix that reminder with things going wrong (the feed was late and we have proof of audio failure), That entire area of the strip being highlighted below a massive hotel (like the shootings), someone with high anxiety like Britney and having her surrounded by security and you have a recipe for what happened. 

I'm not upset about the announcement at all. It is obvious effort went into it and the plan just had to change due to a behind the scenes hiccup. Honestly, if anything it has me excited. If they put effort and money into the reveal then hopefully they are putting money into things that needed it beforehand; I.E, Stage, Props, Costumes.
