In the Zone album cover

Random question: for those who have been fans since at least 2003, does anyone remember when the In the Zone cover art was announced, it was a slightly different (zoomed out) image? Then when it was actually released, it was more just her face? I was wondering if we know why it was changed? Or if the original was ever released in any form? 

Both are beautiful, but I think I have a slight preference for the more zoomed out photo.

The zoomed out version was allegedly used on promotional copies, Britney Online posted the legit full image zoomed out unretouched

I love both, I do love the more zoomed in shot though. I'm not sure why they changed it?

Also there's a rare yellow version of the album cover too that was apparently sold in some countries at the time.

The black straps from the other version ruined the vibe. Glad they changed it to that so we truly won in the end.

I remember this! Was it definitely real? It was supposedly the first version they were going for then went with the blue filter instead but I definitely remember this

The zoomed in shot is superior IMO.  The black straps showing from her top make me think she’s hanging out in her PJ’s for some reason…kinda cheapens the shot lmao.  The face shot alone is more mysterious and ****.  I assume her team agreed because they cropped it lol

During the MATM release era with the pre order they used the zoom out version. The yellow one was up on the Amazon UK, but later on they changed for the zoom in. I don’t think the yellow was released in any form, but the zoom out was released in Poland as a promo version, if I’m not mistaken

I’m not sure if it was definitely real although I remember reading it was apparently sold in some music stores at the time.
