  1. I also feel Not A Girl is sooo underrated here, it's so beautiful and music video is AMAZING In my country it must have been huge because I remember knowing it already when I just became Britney fan, when I was checking her songs on YT for the "first time" I recognised it at the very first second! That means I had heard it a lot on the radio when I was little, not knowing it was Britney singing it
  2. Thank youuu🥺 I think I found statistics for the whole world https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=%2Fm%2F015f7
  3. How can I see it for my country? Can you help me? I'm from Croatia btw
  4. I don't care about Joonga Loonga, let her like whatever she wants. Maybe I'll care when she speaks publicly again...
  5. I would say Toxic is more iconic/known among older audiences and 16+ young people, while Gimme More became really big these days among young teens and kids via TikTok (mostly girls), also GTA5 (mostly boys) In terms of which song is better, that's really hard but I went with Toxic because of timeless violins, spy vibe and faster beat. And video for Toxic is better ofc
  6. This is so interesting, where did you get it? So the green is the biggest percentage of people knowing/talking about them and red is the smallest or is it other way around? For example, Beyonce is more relevant in US than Britney?
  7. Taylor, Britney, Adele and Rihanna. The last one was really hard but I chose from what my friends/school were listening to/talking about more, and that would be Riri.
  8. It's what he deserves but honestly I cannot but cringe when it says "Lynn doesn't speak to him" and "the whole team cut him off" Lou Taylor must be in that team and others who are as guilty as him! And by Lynn, does it mean Jamie Lynn and Bryan as well? I hate that they try to act all good right now by cutting Jamie off, they all deserve the same fate!! I won't be happy until ALL of them share that same motorhome
  9. And not just in her first era but right after her first single! If she didn't release any other single and album after BOMT, it would still be one of the most successful songs ever
  10. Here is the full article about it: https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/official-top-40-best-selling-singles-of-1999__33647/ 1999 saw the arrival of a popstar for who global domination would be instant: Britney Spears. The former child star of Disney TV show The Mickey Mouse Club, Britney soon grew up in front of our very eyes, starting out with the undeniable classic ...Baby One More Time. Aided by a deliciously cheeky music video, the track stormed in at Number 1 in February, scoring 463,722 sales in its opening week, and finished the year on 1.45 million sales to be the UK's best-selling single of 1999. The Max Martin-produced track kick-started a new ultra-slick style of pop from the US that would also earn Number 1 success in the UK for Backstreet Boys (May chart-topper I Want It That Way ranks 35th), and later *NSync and Pink. MORE: Official Top 40 biggest songs of 2021 so far Britney's follow-up single Sometimes - also released that year - wasn't quite the runaway hit of its predecessor, peaking at Number 3, but still places at 34 on the end-of-year Top 40.
