I love Britney for being able to post what she wants whether I agree with it or not. With that being said, this situation is clearly infuriating to Britney, and for one of your peers that you’ve known almost your whole life to dodge a question about the abuse you’ve been in for 13 years is inexcusable, in my opinion. 
 

Of course, She’s entitled to not say anything but why would she choose that route rather than just saying I love and support her and I’m excited for her future. That’s not hard

To be honest, with what Britney has been through, shining a light on this issue especially someone you were closely related to in your career is better than just outright ignoring it. I kinda get where Britney is coming from.

I didn't think it was a big deal for xtina not to comment, the world doesn't revolve around britney, and I wonder if britney is being too sensitive about xtina... like the whole happy bday Fausto thing. I'm almost certain that xtina happy bday Jamie was not intentional and britney took it personally. Of course I don't know the whole story here so maybe there is other drama going on between the 2 of them

Let's be real, while Christina did post one supportive message, she had a platform to do more and its not as if  they have ideas as to what was going on, Cher said that everyone knew.

This is bigger than Xtina to be honest. How many people made statements about "loving" Britney with no comment or message to bring awareness to her situation when it was happening  for two and a half years in court? Yes, great, Lady Gaga spoke out after it ended, but what good is that? Telling people to send prayers? Come on. So many of her contemporaries turned a blind eye but jumped on the trend of saying they love her because its clickbait.

If you didn't comment on it before, don't comment now.

This is a issue bigger than Britney. It’s the Hollywood industry. Harvey Weinstein was “an open secret”. What the hell does that even mean? So many celebrities came forward post Weinstein and talked about how disgusted they were by the situation but did nothing before out of fear it would ruin their careers.

I understand where Britney is coming from and she is right about not needing to avoid the subject like it’s taboo. That said, people including Britney needs to understand not everyone has to speak about her situation, for all we know Britney wasn’t that close to anyone famous, she did that thing for the public eye with Gaga but I wouldn’t call it a friendship. Christina showed her support and is now focused on her new project, her team probably didn’t want to draw the attention from that, there is a time and place for everything.

I guess the way she reacted (by turning at her publicist) and the way that ******* responded got Britney upset. He seemed kinda pressed about the question. Xtina should have just said “I’m so happy for her” and this wouldnt be an issue.

She made that “heartfelt” tweet but doesn’t seem to bother on live camera so there’s that..

I agree. Look at Gaga she didn't doge the question and I am not a Gaga fan. Plus, its normal after all she has been through she must be used to being in defense mode. I don't care, I still support Britney ❤️
