I joined you the official fan club during the BOMT website days. It was like 20/40$ for the year or something like that.

IT WAS EPIC! I was one of 25 members in the club that was gifted two passes for the sound check and backstage tour for Dream Within A Dream.  This is the moment I truly connected with Britney as being a rad human being. She was at her peak of fame and you wouldn’t ever think she was this international pop star. She answered EVERY single question anyone asked, allowed us to stick around much longer than we were meant to. She was honestly just this lovely pure energy.💓

Thanks for posting these. Really took me back to some magical moments of my life.

I remember going to visit my dad for the summer and he bought me the BOMT cd and in the booklet had an invite to sign up for the newsletter and I remember the email address being something like peep13@???I forget but I remember the peep13 part and my dad got emails for yeeears and used to complain about all that "dam spice girl spam" and I'd be like dad its britney btch get it right.

I will never get over the Blackout era website with the album voting. Tbh I kinda wish Blackout was named 'OMG, Is like Lindsay Lohan, like, ok, like?'

So on 2000 I had an internet machine - it was simply a computer that had no memory and could only be used to surf the internet. No windows, no mac. Lol I used to go to these websites often.

Oh man. I remember all of these.

There was a transition period where they used an enlarged version of the image on the Oops single cover as they shifted to the new album era. I was obsessed with that pic as a little tween and visited almost every day.

It’s hard to explain how big a change this felt like at the time. Her most recent video in the US had been From the Bottom of My Broken Heart until Oops premiered in April 2000. It was definitely a new era, and a far cry from the flower themes and cutesy BOMT promo shots.
