A new court document reveals that Britney has no developmental disability.

The main reason why Britney is under a conservatorship is her father's claim that she has dementia, among other things, but this new court document says that she "does not" have a developmental disability. 

These aren't baby steps anymore. 

This is a huge leap and milestone for her freedom.

Maybe it's because of the corrupt justice system matched with evil people like jaime and Lou that has lots of connections.

I don’t know it either, but if it is proved that she’s been set up and she never had any illness, once she’s free, she should receive a compensation from the state, and everyone involved should be investigated.

I must say I know nothing about law so this is just a personal opinion.

But you're right. She needs to be compensated and so much more than that. Those who are all involved needs to pay for what they've done.

I don't think dementia is considered a developmental disability. I could be wrong, though. 

I think this is just a general statement. Either way, I'm glad strides are being made to get rid of Jamie & Co.!

I always had a hard time believing that someone who was way ahead of her time could have any kind of disability and here's the proof. Just goes to show you that she was rebelling against the industry and her parents when they cornered her and threatened her with her kids to get her money. Can Elon Musk just ship them to mars please.

They really destroyed her and her life, wow, it makes me so sad, they’ve never let her grow as a person, actually the complete opposite, a regression tbh

It makes me wonder how Britney would be by now if they really supported her when she needed it and helped her to rebuild her life in a healthy way. A lot has been stolen from her, a closer relationship with her kids, the opportunity to mature and evolve, 12 ******* years of her life that she will never recover. She’s practically been in jail just for having a troubled couple of years and be seen as a money machine, an opportunity to steal millions and millions from her, almost like modern day slavery.

It makes me really angry, furious, I really want to see that people pay for what they did.

the thing is people don't really realize what dementia is. It isn't just shaving your head and do bizarre Instagram videos. People with dementia get progressively worse each time, to the point they just can't be left alone, not even a couple of minutes. They get to a point where it's not just "I don't remember X thing", they totally lose self awareness, they lose their own identity, and in late stages, they reach an extreme where they don't even realize they have to go to the bathroom, or that they have to eat, they usually don't leave the bed, until they eventually pass away. If Britney had dementia back then, 12 years later, would be a miracle if she was still alive.

I think they're public, but you have to make an account to get access to them, which I think it has a cost. So someone did the job and "leaked" them

Not to rain on anybody's parade but dementia wouldn't fall under developmental disabilities, it's a neurological disorder (not that I think britney has it). Let's not spread any more rumors, I saw a ton of them beeing spread today all over twitter.

This is a great step in the right direction, however is dementia the only mental issue claimed? I know cships are hard to end but it’s looking like they are attempting new steps. I think a lot will be lifted but she’s going to have to prove herself again almost like Circus era in order for the entire personal guardianship to end. I’m so happy this is all coming out. Time will tell. I can’t wait for the day we can all finally hear from Britney herself. I don’t think it’s an if rather a when. My first reaction is excitement but I also don’t know the entire case and I’m not sure developmental issues apply to actual mental disorders. So in reality we will have to wait and see. It’s clear changes are trying to be made though.
