I’m in love. It’s classic Mariah! I had chills while listening and the “Killing me Softly” sample give the song so much soul. Mariah did not disappoint. She also serves iconic whistle notes and vocals are amazing. Definitely such a great song for the lambily.

 

On a side note. Remember “You Don’t know what to do” and “Meteorite” from “Me, I am Mariah....“ those songs worked so well and with the disco sensation coming back, it would be amazing if Mimi did a disco inspired album. Could you imagine, she could feature the weekend and kill the charts. Maybe get her 20th number 1 and knock those flops off the throne... idk just an idea that cake to mind.

the production, especially the vocal productions sounds really tinny like it was recorded underwater.. 

other than that, it's alright, but a bit cheesy sounding for my taste. Reminds me of In The Mix and Infinity, which isn't really a good thing.

maybe it'll grow on me. she's my favorite artist so i just have very high standards for her.
