i'm one of the few people who like that she's gained some weight, she looks better with it

she's still very fit, i'd rather have her curvier than look like a skeleton

I noticed that too..

you can see it in the 1st and the fourth pic

Are you being sarcastic? What in that pic reminds you of ITZ?

Maybe the facial expression....in my defence I had just taken my pain meds before posting that (opiates :joanne:)  and there is a slight chance that they affected me. I am now looking at the pic through new eyes and I take it back.

What happened to your kilt? Her skirt looked like it had seen better days

I usually hesitate making comments like this one because I'm really not a fashion person. It's something I just don't care about. And like I said on another thread, the only times I've been attracted to clothing/costumes involved me enjoying all the costumes in Showgirls and I loved Dean Stockwell's clothes in Quantum Leap. So that pretty much says everything, right? But I keep seeing this picture and the one thing that jumps out to me is the skirt. What the **** is that? It looks like a dog chewed half of it up. I don't think it'd look good on anybody.

I have to chime in because I'm reading a lot of innaccuracies from last night's show and some flat out lies as well. I was there, so here is the REAL tea!

1. "The Grand Prix is just a bunch of white rednecks who could careless about Britney"...wrong!

Many of you are confusing Formula 1 (Grand Prix) with Nascar - Formula 1 is the "rich people" version of Nascar. They race high end cars and the majority of the people that attend this event are from other countries. It's ironically not a "huge" U.S. sport and Austin has the only Formula 1 race track in the entire country. Again, this is a HUGE sport overseas and does not necessarily cater to white, conservative Trump supporting people as some of you have mentioned.

2. "The people there did not care about Britney"...wrong again!

The race itself ended 3 hours before her show started, so the only people that stuck around to see her were people that WANTED to see her. The race brings over 100k people per day but not all of them stay for the post event concerts. Anyone with a ticket to the Formula 1 races has access to see the show which is general standing/seating in a large green lawn. You can pay extra though to have access to the "pit" area in front of the stage - that's what I did. For example, I bought a ticket to the race (which I didn't even go to) and I paid an extra $100 to be able to stand in the "pit" area in front of the stage. I showed up around 3pm, when the race was ending and the crowds were leaving, the show started at 6pm.

3. "The crowd was small.."...um, no it wasn't. There were 2k people minimum in front of the stage and behind us in the general lawn access were at least 30-40k people. It's a HUGE area.

4. "She had no energy..." ....meh, that's debatable. I saw her show in Vegas (see my YouTube channel videos) and while I did think the Vegas show was much better, the crowd still enjoyed her last night. I honestly think what turned some people off is how blatantly obvious it was that she wasn't singing. Several people around me were joking about it throughout the show. That said, we already knows she does, so what else is new.

Overall, I wouldn't call it the best show or experience ever (I've been to every tour she's ever done), but it was still enjoyable. In my opinion, she needs to work on interacting. The few times she spoke to the crowd, 3 total, the crowd went crazy but it did get a little boring just seeing song after song after song with her not uttering a word.

My god that is not a damn skirt. That is a belt with fabric scraps attached.

Wow! Thank you for posting this! Based on the negative comments in the thread, I assumed it was a terrible show. So glad I watched that compilation. Overall, it looked strong! Definitely up there with her stronger POM Tour shows. There was actually less hair playing and nervousness than most of the shows from this year -- and this was her first show after a long break (she'd usually be more nervous than normal).

After seeing this, I'm even more excited for Domination. Yes, she strayed from the original costumes and cut some choreo in POM, but I believe it's because she's gotten too comfortable with it now. Her energy is there and her confidence seems to be back. She just needs fresh ideas, costumes and choreo. For example, she seemed excited to bring Clumsy and CYM to the show because they were new and she got to switch up the vibe a bit. If we can get similar excitement and energy for Domination as a show, we'll be in good shape. I really think it will be POM 2.0-level, which fans ATE UP when it first premiered. Remember the first time we saw the back walkover in TOMH or the feisty ILR&R guitar performance? I imagine new moments like that with a brand new stage, production, costumes, setlist... I truly think it will be an improvement. It may be wishful thinking, but that last POM show in Austin was not bad at all energy-wise and nerves-wise. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Oh please, like Britney fans didn't do the same thing a month back with an xtina concert....anyway, can't really be surprised with the crowd. There really isnt much to get excited about when Britney Spears performs. Fans can still bask in nostalgia, but for non fans? There's no singing, very little choreography, certainly nothing to be impressed by. And theres no props or effects to make up for all that she lacks
