She’s not mental she’s just like this now

Recommended Posts

People still act like she is fine, and even saying shes having fun and being creative.

creative for wot? Spinning the same way in every single video  for 2 years with interesting hand moves and showing middle finger and then kissing the middle finger? Is that being creative?

Idk why its hard for some fans to accept that she doesnt seem okay and she probably needs help.

also, at first, some of u were saying she doesnt have any mental illness, she is just having fun but now you say mental issues made her this way. Just make up ur mind. You all deep down know that smth is off. U just dont wanna accept it.

We can talk about mental illness... it's not a death sentence or a criminal thing. Britney and any other person struggling can have a good life if they start to take care of themselves.

It's the most common type of ableism. Some people cannot imagine her having something serious, maybe something that's not entirely trauma-based, rather genetic and/or uncurable, so they hysterically deny the possibility of it. But see what these kind of fans often do. They instantly call you names, you're crazy, insane, delusional etc, so it's obvious they don't have problems with shaming someone with an alleged mental illness, based on a few comments. They believe calling someone crazy is the biggest insult, so of course that's what they do, even some "certified psychologists". A mentally ill Britney would be less in THEIR eyes, that's what they're hiding.

So I wouldn't defend these kind of fans, I see through them.

Don't forget the butt slaps. That's exactly what she does in literally every video.

I do understand what he’s saying, and he’s right of course about the effects of trauma on a person, but I’ve asked this before:

Where does Britney’s right to be who she is impact on others to the extent that she should be challenged about it?

Hard to put it in a sentence so will try again. Her right to exist and behave how she does now, shouldn’t negatively impact on others who are innocent.

Off the top of my head I’m referring to her children and whatever they’ve been through which we DON’T know, all we know is that they’ve reached a point where they’ve gone no contact with her, which takes a lot for a child.

I’m referring to whatever issue she had with Selena Gomez and the childish, embarrassing way she went about it. If they have problems fine, there’s a more human way to deal with them that how she did.

I’m talking about the Jack in the Box worker who was on the receiving end of her public rage after attempting to be kind to her.

I’m talking about staff at the horse riding place where she decided to go topless, plus staff and guests at the Four Seasons hotel who didn’t get to decide whether they wanted to see a half naked person that day.

I’m talking about road users who may encounter Britney when she’s deciding to speed and then police who pull her over and see she doesn’t have a licence with her.

I’m talking about the staff and other users of the dance studio in Maui who had to deal with her deciding to break the law by smoking on their premises, and might have had to deal with ash all over the floor, plus the smell.

So you see all of those things might be caused by Britney’s trauma, and therefore understandable. The people who have to cross paths with her though might not be so tolerant when it begins to impact them.

To sum up - yes Britney is who she is, and she has the right to do what she wants or is capable of. However, others interacting with her will have the right to react to her choices.

she said many years ago she is not a role model. no one asked you to be perfect. no one is perfect. focus on the good she brought to the world. how many artist she influenced and how much joy she brought to her fans.

sit down and shut up.

There’s no way on earth Britney should be a role model!! I’m not talking about that, is that honestly how my post came across? That I’m demanding she be this perfect role model?

I was trying to say that how we act in this world affects others, those we cross paths with and those we display ourselves to publicly. Those people will then have a reaction and it won’t always be positive, that’s just how it is.

I struggle often with being able to articulate my thoughts and it’s not always easy to explain things properly so that might have happened here!

EDITED TO ADD: She shouldn’t be expected to be a role model, except to her boys. People might not agree with me but I do believe that parents should be role models to their children. People shouldn’t feel obliged to be any kind of role model to the general public, but to your own children, yes I feel we should be and the reality is that this is who kids are going to look up to while growing up.

I'm always scared to share my opinion on this...but I genuinely believe that Britney has a mood disorder that is now untreated since leaving the conservatorship and her wanting to be free of all the restrictions and "treatments" imposed on her. This would explain her going through periods of "lows" (e.g. deleting her Instagram, cryptic posts etc.) followed by "highs" (e.g., posting dancing videos, loving herself, self-compassion, not caring what anyone thinks etc.)

I'm coming at this from the perspective of someone who works in the field of mental health, so there's absolutely no shame or blame attached with my message. I only wish that she is provided with the loving support that she deserves and is able to get help on her terms :sendinglove_kissing_heart_love_blowing:

It's all so EXTRA, there's nothing about trauma or abuse or anything like that in her recent behaviour,

It's just her style of having fun and be creative and put herself out there, she grow up with dancers, rappers, those people smoked cigs and joints and had fun between rehearsals, that's her references,

It's ok to play, it's old references some people don't know

Society now are too obsessed with mental health, if you don't appear plastic and like everyone else, if you're out of the bubble, you called crazy and stuff like that, if you're a celebrity your instagram have to be so aesthetic, plastic, and very Kardashian

Britney is a Sagittarius with an Aquarius moon, a Libra rising, a new air and she changed, a new air a new idea rises, she's crazy different and she's an artist, people should gtfo with putting Britney in every mental health category.

That's why she should put her team in jail, they humiliated her putting in that ******* ambulance in 2008 and now the stigma is forever sticked with her. I guess there's no turning back, fans want her dull and a barbie doll so they can display that her mental health is PERFECT! and she's totally FINE!

Britney doesn't give a **** and will appear they way she wants, she's playing and doesn't care to be a plastic boring celebrity anymore.

Britney has never been like this though, even 2007 wasn’t this messy sis

So this entire websites user base is split in two groups basically:

1. She's crazy you just won't admit it, she needs help!

2. She's not crazy you're all delusional, she's just being herself!

While none of you actually know whats even going on because she shares like 0.0000001% of her life and overall day lol

That's it!

She shared that she is depressed and that dancing makes her forget her physical pain.

And don't forget:

1. People who think she needs tough love and criticism: tell her to woman up, get a new team, new friends and get back to work !

2. People think she's been through unbelievable trauma and that she deserves compassion to figure out where she wants to go from here.

While none of us know what we're doing and are just creating a solution out of our own experiences in life

The people who yell she needs help are so funny, as if there is a magic pill or spell to make all her depression, anxiety, daddy issues and all the other bad stuff affecting her life disappear :clownery_makeup_meme: How can she go to a therapist when she said she's scared of doctors because of what her family made her do? Imagine being forced to listen to a therapist when you're not even allowed to share your troubles? Imagine being forced to go to AA meeting when you're not allowed to drink alcohol?

This whole "She's crazy" narrative gives me flashbacks of 2007 when it was the NORM to make fun of her and some of her fans didn't like it and turned against her because they felt betrayed. What if this messy Britney is the real Britney? What if she rebells so hard because she was TOO CONTROLLED? She had 0 freedom, now she has 100 % freedom and guess what? It's like a sugar rush. You can argue about whether this a good thing or not, but like in the end of the day you're not talking to her so she won't give a f+ck. You can boycott her music, she won't give a f#ck because she's retired. Other than being rude to people and flashing her tatas, I don't see the crimes that she did? If she were really crazy, you'd think she would kill somebody or break stuff or harm herself. All she does are spinning videos inside and post cute images on Insta. You can dislike them or find them "cringe" but there is nothing harmful?

THIS!

People enabling her behavior is honestly scary. Yes she is allowed to do whatever she wants but don't ignore the fact that certain behavior is odd. So many other people have gone through trauma and you don't see any of them doing seizure like movements on Instagram. She needs help and that's ok. It would be weird if she didn't need help after all the horror she went through. But the fact that this fanbase is denying it is weird. Ya'll still gonna defend it if one day she ends up dead because she didn't seek help?

And we don't know, she might be getting help behind the scenes but posting these instagram videos are not helping and honestly scaring me for her. I love her and always will, I'm just concerned.
