Many still don't understand Britney.
If she cared about what people say and want, she would have done a new shoot.
Since now, after what she has undergone, rightly, people's opinions are irrelevant, if one wants to know the truth about her, read the book, not because they are attracted by the cover.

Then there will be those who complain about how the book was written and what it says.

i actually like the cover. the fact that she's semi naked represents her opening up in the book. there's a reason for everything in graphic design.

Yep yep. In the official cover, we sense the openness and self-acceptance that made her dreams and desires inspiring - and threatening. In retrospect, we KNOW she was misguided to think she could dare to express that much agency as a young woman without having to pay a steep toll, giving the image poignancy, but that just makes it even more representative of her mythology and role in the culture. It's GREAT.
