the "newer generations" know who she is lol it's not live her entire discography from BOMT to BJ (sorry glory) is always on tiktok (BOMT, Oops, Toxic, GM, Womanizer, IUSA, Criminal, S&S, WB) 

and she literally is the most cosplayed female-artist in high schools (yup, still today)

Everyone knows who Britney spear’s is. But 16-18 and younger “don’t get the hype” simply because they were not around then. This is evident by the many many instagram comments I’ve read on her posts throughout the past 2-3 years.
