In this day/age where artists plan new music, they change/delete their profile picture, archive all their insta/social media photos, pre-plan and select photos to match the aesthetic of the new era, keep people hanging and drop random pretentious clues and hints etc etc

Britney decided to just post a fan made cover art from an account with 200 followers and thank the fan for making the picture, thank fans for supporting her and getting us excited to hear her song. Just a genuine, raw, real and down to earth way of talking about her music. So damn refreshing.

Reminds me of when she randomly went on Z100 radio and took them a demo of “Mona Lisa” to play or when she spontaneously decided to do 4-5 15 min shows with “The M&Ms tour” 

Just comes from her heart and her mind.

Honestly, Britney is just very rock ‘n roll as an artist.

It definitely feels like a throwback to the era where she was fighting for control. Doing it in this blasé way is  her way off saying F U to the system.

She doesn’t need marketing. She’s Britney Spears.

I respect her decision to announce it that way and I respect your point of view but for other people it just looks cheap and unserious

I guess there’s also no obligation or expectation from her label (is she still even with RCA?) as this is purely through Elton John’s interscope records. So she just does whatever she wants

She’s more interactive with her fans than any other artist.  I love that she made the announcement a moment to reach out to her fans.  What a beautiful way to make that announcement.  She shares her glory with the whole community.

She'll probably move beyond this phase in a year or two. But she's only been free and able to truly post on social media for like...a year now lol. Give it time.

This is Interesting because despite all the hate for unpolished song and video, but Britney’s video have the level engagement of Kim K or the Jenners. Her dancing video have 5-20 million views, while Beyoncé polished professional footage only get half or quarter of that. You guys might hate it but it actually works for her. I personally like the polished video like we had in 2003-04, but I don’t know. She got public eye so easily while other artist like Halsey, Doja Cat are complaining that their record label want them to go viral on tik tok. Britney did it with a tripod and a fashion nova top.

I’m not “very” anti-Sam, have i’ve shaded him in the past when I didn’t trust his intentions? Sure. But I haven’t posted about him since way before the wedding. I archived the literal 2 posts of him on my profile out of respect for them both. Stop stirring up **** loser.
