Catholic Church says Britney never asked to get married there

Britney called out a Catholic church in L.A claiming they wouldn't allow her to get married there. 

A rep for the church told TMZ they checked their records and claim Britney never personally visited the church or asked to have her wedding there. They did admit that at least one spouse in a wedding has to be Catholic. 

"The rep tells us the pic Britney posted appears to be from a live stream, not a photo she took on her own. We're told the church knows the couple getting married in the photo ... and Britney was not in attendance for their wedding."

It's a well known fact that Britney uses aliases, so just because there is no record of "Britney Spears" requesting a wedding there doesn't mean she (or a friend/assistant) didn't enquire about it

I’m sure she had someone reach out for her - that’s what I’d do if I was a celebrity…and I would still consider it me reaching out, even tho it was through someone else.    Even if she DIDN’T ask them in any way, finding out they won’t allow it if you aren’t Catholic isn’t really much different from them telling you directly…that’s what they would have said.  So they can take their “Britney, you’re dismissed” attitude and stfu.  So many members of my family are Catholic and they…not it.  No hate to anyone that is Catholic, but if I practiced any type of religion, it certainly wouldn’t be one that has rules like that.  Britney isn’t wrong in that religion SHOULD be open to all…without condition.
