I’d never heard any “speculation” beyond wishful thinking from thirsty gays, but does anyone get the sense that these type of public announcements do the exact opposite of quelling any such speculation?

The problem with people is: the need to know the intimacy or private life of anyone. Henry is a low key celebrity and doesn’t share his personal life. And it is his right. Not every celebrity is a Kardashian type.

Henry seems to not like the spotlight. He does not go out constantly seeking attention. Those types put themselves out there  to be judged, but not Henry.

Was busy celebrating my bday with my flatmates  I did see the post, though. Now I don't know where the ***uality rumours are coming from but I think he's addressing the whole situation with the actress playing Siri (his daughter) in The Witcher. It's mostly gifs taken out of context but anyways. Fans were spreading the rumours on twitter and Henry's had enough.

Yes, this is something that had to be said. Since 2007 when he appeared on The Tudors, already this rumor about him being gay was going around on the internet. People need to leave him alone and respect his relationship.
