Lindsay may have been a bigger name in film, but Hilary’s music career was bigger. She had 4 studio albums compared to Lindsay’s 2, they faired better on the top 200 albums chart with Metamorphosis hitting number 1. And Hilary had more success with singles on the hot 100 as well. She even had 2 “greatest hits” albums… a bit silly but at least she had enough singles/ albums to create one. Hilary also went on 4 tours, and I don’t think Lindsay ever went on tour. I love them both, and Lindsay was probably bigger in terms of hit films, but I think Hilary’s music career was definitely more successful than Lindsay’s. Lindsay just became more infamous for things going on in her personal life and was more of a tabloid celebrity at the peak of when people were obsessed with celebrity gossip.
