  1. Earlier today I subscribed to the Patreon of Natasha Khan, the wonderful mastermind behind the stage name Bat for Lashes. I adore her music so much, and the subscription gives me access to exclusive content. I also am able to message her, so I wrote this: "Hello Natasha, I'm just writing this to let you know that you have gained another fan in this world full of pop culture fascination. I first encountered your music through the infectious groove of Feel for You shortly after it was released in 2019, on rateyourmusic.com. I delved into the Lost Girls project shortly thereafter, and I don't believe I've surfaced yet. I've always been enamored by rich, powerful vocals, and the dreamscapes that you put together with your instrumentals create worlds within my mind whenever I listen to the album. Your lyrics on The Bride, about the journeys through grief and such unimaginable tragedy, are so poignant in today's reality. You truly are a blessing to the art of music. I can't wait for the new album. With Regards, Ben." I'm not sure if she'll respond or not. How about you? Have you ever messaged one of your favs? Have they responded?

  6. Hey y’all! My intro is long over due! Kinda just been flying under the radar… but I’ve been following the site for quite some time - literally came across it during 2007, when I was finally able to access the internet on a consistent basis - and Britney has been my light through some of my darkest times. Other artist include Mariah Carey (she’s an Aries like me, so that’s bound to happen), Madonna, Janet - the classics - and most recently Miley, Dua and Tove Lo. I’m a freak when it comes to the dance floor. 😅 Britney just has a way to bring that freak outta me that once her voice graces the dance floor, I’m on beast mode the rest of the evening. I’m 💯 Puerto Rican, raised in Philly. I look forward to getting on here more often and interacting with y’all a bit more. 💖 oh and my one and only time I got to see her was during the Femme Fatale Tour. I was in Philly, the one where it’s claimed she sang live for a good portion of the show, which I feel is true cause I got chills - maybe it was my first time but she had me wild - some girl busted her toe and was like “it’s a Britney show! What can you expect but to get a busted toe” or something along those lines 🤣😭 anyway, my anxiety and adhd is kicking in. Later ✌🏽
  7. It’s official, Britney is done performing live after one lucky fan and contestant is wearing her headset whilst holding his winner trophy of BBC’s celebrity mastermind, a tv show in the UK
  8. Dear Britney, CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! It must be thrilling what is happening right now and makes me feel more comfortable you acknowledging the support of fans and welcoming it! Things WILL be better moving forward! I'm sure many of us are worried about the transition back to (real) LIFE , the one they took away from you. However I have complete faith in you .... I, we always did and will do . What made all of this possible is the love you have -and you so openly share with us which we cant but give it back- , your passion , brains and optimism ! They may have succeeded in stealing some of that confidence by constantly oppressing you but NEVER that heart of GOLD! NEVER! Confidence........its not confidence.. it's PASSION. And passion makes you great! A great mother , lover, artist. Do whatever you need to do and feels right for you B! Whether that's leaving all of this behind for good or coming back for blood and snatch wigs left and right. We will always be here for you NO MATTER WHAT. There's so much more than the Britney Spears Brand in you , we are all very well aware of this, so much worth of our protection! Block those fu**ers out of your life, take what they STOLE and leave them back, in history. As for Sam and his support , I am super grateful he seems to genuinely support you in any ways he can. Live it to the fullest! I will quote Madonna "There are many men worth backing, not because they're men but because they are worthy. So much love!!!! XOXOXOX!!! PS It would be so nice to hear everything from you one day be some means ! Heal and rest!
  9. Hey everyone! In the most recent lockdown I truly began to struggle with my mental health after so many years of struggling previously. After many sessions of encouragement with my therapist I started to write my story. I know you may be asking why it is on a Britney forum and that’s because Britney and the forum is mentioned repeatedly throughout the book as part of my journey. I hope this book can reach out to those who it may help and with your help I hope it can. Here is a review and the description of the book… "Raw, honest, hard to put down and incredibly beautiful. Joshua reminds us that we are all many different pieces of a complex puzzle. A continuing story of love, hope and healing." - Gemma Ray, BBC Lancashire “Joshua Gaskell’s story is a complicated jigsaw. Navigating his youth through confusing and turbulent emotions including bullying, rejection, heartbreak and struggles with his ***uality, everyday normal stresses and strains snowballed quickly. A survivor of the Manchester Arena bombing which saw a suicide bomber claim the lives of 22 people and injure 800 at an Ariana Grande concert, Joshua found himself no longer understanding his place in society and how to deal with his thoughts. Severe depression and post-traumatic stress disorder ensued and with that came crippling anxiety, struggles with historical trauma, addiction and suicide attempts. When the UK lockdown in 2020 shut down his business leaving him in severe financial, emotional and mental stress, it was too much. Joshua finally reached out for help and sought solace and healing in his therapist, Catherine. It was Catherine who recognised that Joshua’s story of survival could help others. She recommended Joshua write this book. This book is his story. And it may be your story too. “My therapist, Catherine, asked me during our sessions, “What are you living for?” My answer was that I’m living to complete my puzzle”, said Joshua. In this unfiltered and raw memoir, Joshua recounts the incremental mental toll that led to him feeling that life was not worth living. Gripping and shocking, yet hopeful, this book is a reminder that we are all many puzzle pieces in our jigsaw of life. Some we need help to find, some are hard to place but learning to enjoy the process of fitting the dramatically different pieces together is the most beautiful and meaningful part of life” Kindle Edition Out Now! Paperback edition coming very soon! http://mybook.to/puzzlepieces Sorry this is such a long winded post haha! Thanks for your help and support throughout the many years!
