Congrats to Shakira, and mist definitely knowing the US isn't going to help Spain by extraditing her.. Everybody says it best, they won't send few people to The Us what makes them think for taxes their gonna help Spain, she pays her taxes in the US, it's literally genius, they have her 💰, their gonna actually help her keep the kid's away from their Father, in the long run. Cos he refuses to move to the States,,but then again his retirement announcement and now this is definitely coincidence of timing, like he knew this was coming, so time to bow out of football to be with his kids in America..

Shakira's 1995 hit Antología has reached 200M streams on Spotify, turning her into the first Latin female artist (probably the first female overall but I need someone to confirm, but definitely the first Latin artist) with at least one song from four different decades to achieve this feat. 1998's Inevitable is close behind with over 192M+ streams. From the 2000's she's got Whenever, Wherever, La Tortura and Hips Don't Lie. From the 2010's there's Waka Waka, Can't Remember to Forget You, Chantaje, La Bicicleta, among others. And from the current decade there's Te Felicito, her latest hit, as well as the Black Eyed Peas 2020 collaboration GIRL LIKE ME. Other artists that have achieved this before are Elton John, Eminem and Michael Jackson.

Per ABC News: MADRID -- Prosecutors in Spain said Friday they would ask a court to sentence Colombian pop star Shakira to eight years and two months in prison, if she is convicted in her expected trial for alleged tax fraud. Shakira, whose full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, is charged with failing to pay the Spanish government 14.5 million euros ($15 million) in taxes between 2012 and 2014. The prosecutors said they would also seek a fine of 24 million euros ($24 million). The indictment details six charges against Shakira. The singer this week rejected a settlement deal offered by prosecutors, opting to go to trial instead. A trial date has yet to be set. Shakira’s public relations team says the singer has always fulfilled her tax duties. It says the artist has deposited the amount she is said to owe, including 3 million euros in interest. Prosecutors in Barcelona have alleged the Grammy winner spent more than half of each year between 2012 and 2014 in Spain and should have paid taxes in the country. Shakira recently ended an 11-year-long relationship with FC Barcelona star Gerard Piqué, with whom she has two children. The family used to live in Barcelona. https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/spain-prosecutors-seek-year-prison-term-shakira-87613918
