  1. The fact it ends so abruptly and you just hear the huge rainstorm getting worse and worse as the credits roll was striking way to end it. It's really a bummer but it's very good and was definitely necessary for her career at the time
  2. When you put it into perspective that's sad. But wait...wasn't Moodring a single? Or am I wrong? Either way this is a beautiful song and was happy to finally hear Britney using her real, lower singing voice for a majority of the song
  3. The roll-out (or lack thereof) has been embarrassing. Nicki will always be the Queen of Rap to me, but...she's not doing herself favors with this project. It's been messy and confusing since the beginning. Last Time I Saw You is a cute song but we need an actual banger similar to the likes of "Chun-Li"
  4. I think the cover is beautiful, she looks confident, yet sad in a sort of way. It fits the tone of the book, and I like the pink and b&w color scheme
  5. Yeah she was not into that interview. Btw Is that the same one she looks shocked to realize Ryan isn't gay? Omg that was so funny
  6. True. I am sure there are many spooky and sinister things behind the music industry we don't know about kinda glad Britney is distancing herself from that part of the industry
  7. If this is a duplicate thread, sorry but I don't believe I've seen one on this topic since the Book's release. Also obviously this is just theories, not stating anything is fact. So Britney didn't touch on the "theory" that Myah Marie did most the vocals on Britney Jean (I put Air quotes cuz...we pretty much know for sure she wasn't just a backing vocalist) Here are some of my thoughts as to possibly why: 1. Britney doesn't even know herself. Many artists don't listen to their own music and I'm certain she probably definitely wouldn't during the cship when she has like no control. So she might've not even listened to the album, and even with "Work B" might not have noticed. 2. She wanted to, but was legally not allowed to. We have heard rumors that several pages of her book had to be removed In fear she would be sued. Maybe her label or even Team Con or Myah would be upset? I'm not sure exactly though, this is probably the theory I think is least likely but who knows. 3. She knows...but honestly doesn't care. Which she said herself she had no passion for music during this time because of how awful her team was, so there was a possibility she purposefully half-asssed recording so much they just got Myah to do most the album and Britney was so worn-down and done she just let them and went full IDGAF mode. Which, I honestly think could be the case, it's so sad if it's true. That these monsters broke her spirit so much she lost passion for an art form she truly loved Thankfully Glory gave her that spark back, even if it was brief! What are your guys' thoughts?
  8. First of all, I don't think I saw someone else make a thread about this, but if someone did, well...oops I know many of you have already read the book, but still I just thought this would be a fun thread to do cuz this is one of her parts I was most looking forward to in the book. Btw: if you still haven't read the book/listened to the audiobook, do yourself a favor! BOMT got a pretty good part of the book, Britney said she felt most passionate about music during this period which is interesting. The story about her meeting Max Martin for the first time and their table caught on fire I guess even the table couldn't handle how iconic their meeting would be! (Jokes aside glad they were both safe in the end) I thought the story about B purposefully staying up late so her voice would sound gravelly/s3xy for the recording of BOMT was really interesting. Makes me listen to the song differently now. OIDIA honestly got next to nothing, was kind of hoping she would maybe talk about "Stronger"...but I guess she didn't have much to say on the era Self-titled got a bit more, she referenced it's release. She actually talked more on "Crossroads" and the tour. She loved the DWAD SO MUCH show which makes me happy she gushes over it a bit throughout which I enjoyed. ITZ shockingly got not much. I was expecting way more on Toxic or even Everytime. She does talk about the story of getting Madonna on MATM which is sickening and legendary, she also says that's one of her favorite songs. She HATED the Onyx Tour, which shocked many fans including myself. It just seemed like a pivotal moment in her career, but I understand and respect her opinion. The fact she manifested and prayed she would break something so it could end is sad...but also kind of iconic I can't lie Girl was DONE. The Kevin relationship really took over most of this section... Blackout. Hell yeeessss. I know all us stans were looking forward to this part. She knows her fans stan and worship this album and she DELIVERED. I was shocked at how much she talked about it, I'm so happy she did. She consistently refers to Blackout as a work she's super proud of and how satisfying the creative process was and it just healed my soul. Ever since I was a young teenage fan this was always my favorite so I'm so happy she gave it the flowers it deserves. The stories behind "Hot As Ice" and the "Gimme More" vid were very interesting. Her talking about the 2007 VMA performance was honestly heartbreaking Also when her dad was saying she needed a comeback and in her head she thought "I just released my best album but ok whatever" that floored me The con-era albums (besides Glory) got hardly anything, which both surprised me and also didn't? If that makes sense? Circus and Femme Fatale got nothing apart from referring to the tours. I was hoping we'd get something on "Womanizer" and possibly more insight on the FF era, which seems very mysterious, and apparently what she wanted for the album was scrapped. BJ got a bit more, obviously more focused on the residency and the hellscape it became. She does like "Work *****" which I agree Is a bop that slays. I wish she talked about Perfume. She doesn't go into the whole "most personal album" or Myah Marie situation which is interesting. I'll make a separate thread for the Myah thing. Glory got the most which isn't surprising, I'm glad she made at least one album she truly loves during the cship. Anyways, this thread is long enough, are y'all happy with everything she went over, or is there maybe another topic you wished she might've covered?
  9. When I first read the title I thought it meant they wanted to reach out and felt bad.... Of course I was wrong Britney is a grown *** woman, she has every right to tell her story! Kevin honestly got it kind of easy in the book, to me at least. The fact the book details all the pain and hardships B went through and after all that Kevin and the boys still spin it into "woe is us". Ugh I'm mad.
  10. Yeah this doc always stuck out to me as really sad even as a young fan before I knew all the information on the con (I knew a little). The FF era as a whole, she just seems so sad and miserable, and not herself. It's crazy cuz the album makes her out to be this fun, energetic party animal and in promo she's just a zombie thanks to her horrible ******* team That ending where the guy asks if she would do this until she's 50, she literally sounds like she's about to cry, it hurts me! I will say, although the BJ era was also during the con, in the "I Am Britney Jean" doc she seems way more happy, and has a lot of cute Britney moments. I'm glad she did seem better despite still being in the awful situation and being forced to do the residency. Thank God she's free now
  11. Ok love Britney, but this is kinda odd lol. And to all the people saying it isn't, if any other pop girl posted this you all would be cackling and making memes, but once it's Britney suddenly "it's totally fine!" I'm a huge B stan but I can also say I don't like a post. Get a little annoyed at the hypocrisy on this site
  12. No ma'am you will not diss LGTI like that! That album had amazing bops and the tour was iconic! If you must diss a Kylie album, let it be "Enjoy Yourself" that album is arguably her least innovative or interesting (still not a bad album tho!)
  13. BILLIE RAPS??? EDIT: Wait nevermind I'm so stupid it was just all around albums lol. I was gonna say WHEN DID BILLIE BECOME A RAP QUEEN
