Either way this is a beautiful song and was happy to finally hear Britney using her real, lower singing voice for a majority of the song

At the time I didn’t like Work B, and so when Perfume came out I was ecstatic! It was giving me old school Britney vocals. I was like, musically, she’s back! 
 

And then it flopped 

 

It’s one of my favorite ballads from her.

Song is fine, but the video is not my thing at all. It also lacked live vocal performances, which is usually what gets ballads / slower songs more attention.

I actually really enjoy this song whenever it comes on. I wish the "mark my territory" lyric had been omitted, that the music video was more interesting, that the song had a bridge, and that we got to hear Britney sing it live at least once.

Yes “Mood Ring” was released as a single, as was “Swimming In The Stars” were both released as singles in 2020 for the Glory reissue, so technically those 2 are her last solo singles.
