Britney praises Justin Timberlake's new song and apologizes

I feel like someone reached out to her for some damage control which then allows Justin to talk about it in interviews. 
 

The whole thing seems strategic especially considering the timing of the post. Just in time for news outlets to cover it on Monday morning.

I think she feels guilt for JT-s flop single.. thinks it’s because of her book people/her fans now doing what they do.. 

but Britney it’s not your fault it’s his! 
stop apologizing for an actions of others or for the truth!

I support her but she shouldn't apologize.. this is trauma talking. Her book was fine, she never meant it bad, its fans and media who take what they want and make it bad.

Not healthy at all. It’s the same obsession Selena has with Bieber and his wife. I don't know if bipolar makes people act like this... but yeah.

Selena and Britney have a lot of things in common. I confess that it even surprises me that they are not best friends. But Britney's situation is much more delicate. Selena is smart and despite some stumbles, she knows how to use the engagement she has to her advantage, she handles fame well. That's why she doesn't get cancelled, even though she says and does some **** every now and then. Britney, on the other hand, only used her engagement to harm herself and her legacy. No wonder no one takes her seriously anywhere, it has become a joke outside the fan bubble. It's so sad to see her in this situation, so desperate for attention to the point of praising someone who has always disdained her. While people who supported her - like Xtina and even Selena herself - became her enemies.

I am not TOO angry at her about this.

At the end of the day she didn't ask fans to put her song at number one.

I also think some of the comments fans have said about Justin were unnecessary.

I do think she could have acknowledged fans putting the song to number one in some way though.

So let me get this straight. Some of y’all were so bored to the point where you spent money purchasing a song you should have already had to try and outshine Justin Timberlake because you can’t stand to see him have the spotlight then act like you really won something only for her to turn around and apologize to him and say that she watched SNL and loved the song and performance? And you’re mad she’s not acknowledging it? Something she never asked for?

I agree I can’t keep up with the mood swings on people. I get it’s trauma but hasn’t this been going on for years now? It’s like a never ending loop. One minute saying sorry then the next dragging people then sorry again. I get it I really do but it’s sad to see

This is a reach. Justin’s mom and their mutual MMC friends (Kelly Clinger) did an intervention when she was put into conservatorship in 2008. His mom also kept trying to contact her back then. And Britney’s mom said in her memoir that Justin and Britney recorded a song together in 2008 for Circus. Justin also publicly supported ending her conservatorship in 2019.

We don’t know them. Stop acting like you know Britney personally.

At the end of the day all the things Justin did with these women in the past including Brit happened. The damage is done! You can’t change people’s opinions about that. I mean look at Chris Brown, he keeps trying to redeem his career but just flops continuously.

Brit is allowed to have her own opinion as she is probably embarrassed by the whole “selfish” situation.

But I don’t think she realises it was a “fan” campaign for fun and we did it for her after all she went through with him.
