Yep, that’s why he apologized to us first and then tacked on Britney as an afterthought. He’s just tying to mitigate the backlash.

I remember clearly to this day when Timbaland, Justin and Nelly were in TRL talking about VMAs 2007 (causes Timbaland was a music producer of it) and they asked him about Britney performing and he looked at Justin and started to laugh
