Blackout turns 16-years-old, Britney says the album is “the thing I’m most proud of in my whole career"

Obviously there’s so much to unpack but one of the biggest takeaways is Britney’s LOVE and appreciation of Blackout. She mentions and praises it multiple times and it makes me soooo happy.

Britney says the album is “the thing I’m most proud of in my whole career… 'Blackout' was one of the easiest and most satisfying albums I ever made,” she writes. “Even though it was a very hard time in just about every other way, artistically it was great. Something about where I was in my head made me a better artist… The album was a kind of battle cry. After years of being meticulous, trying to please my mom and dad, it was my time to say ‘**** you.’”

It's so crazy to me how massive Blackout would have been if things were different.

The album would have been the biggest comeback of all-time and would be considered her "Ray of Light"

Yeah! It is one of the best albums of all time. So ahead of its time, still timeless. I’m glad she said that. I really do like Glory as well, I can clearly hear the difference and the fire in her vocally from Circus, FF and BJ

Blackout can be compared to Erotica gurl not Ray of Light honey 

blackout and erotica have same Provocative Themes, Both albums marked a departure from the artists' previous works, Both albums faced backlash and controversy upon their release, Both albums left a significant impact on pop culture.

I was a little surprised she didn't talk about "Mona Lisa" which she presented at the radio station or "The Original Doll". 
Makes me believe it was the same project but then turned out to be called "Blackout"?!
