And she’s extremely stubborn and won’t listen to what people tell her (understandable after your entire trust system was shattered for 14 years)

It kinda makes sense why Sam filed the divorce papers. Everything seems to be adding up and clicking now. This woman seeks men who seem to be nothing but trouble for her. It's her escapism and this man seemed to be her rebound. There's definitely a complex psychological component to all of this and I just hope that Britney gets the help she deserves or feels that she needs. Valuing one's self-worth can sometimes be the hardest thing.
