This is all my opinion.

This move feels like a desperate and scrambled attempt to weaken any evidence of wrong doing now that all parties involved have been exposed and possibly committed perjury, and place doubt upon any and all evidence before trial in the wake of Jamie's set deposition; it feels like they truly didn't believe it would happen...

...but ultimately, a move like this is pointless. Not only did you provide these documents, but if there is any speculation or an area lacking in substance, set the record straight...

Sit down and be deposed. Answer questions and set the record straight if you're so sure you did nothing wrong and everyone else has misinterpreted your words via email.
