There’s another version of the video that intercuts scenes from the movie “Drive me crazy” with Melissa Joan Hart but the “Britney” isn’t in this video (at least I couldn’t see her). And of course Drive me Crazy/You drive me crazy are linked

these performances seem to have been recorded the same day and were used in multiple versions of TOTP (I think there was one for UK and one for Germany) so they could've pre-recorded that part of her, just as a cheesy nod to the video. When we see the audience from behind, we can't see the Britney "double" on front row where she supposedly is
